Their music is a unique fusion of electronic and avant-garde styles that result in a haunting experience. The album features intricate, glitchy beats and atmospheric soundscapes that create an otherworldly listening impression. In addition to their innovative sound, Keen Distress also places a strong emphasis on the visual aspect of their project. The peculiar images (no CGI, just fluids on a microscope slide) that accompany their music were created in collaboration with Cosmodernism.

For his second album on the label, Adhémar has composed an ensemble of intimate and evanescent tracks.

"The Birth of Mist" is set at the beginning of a water steam, in the morning of the world. The artist continues to draw attention to living beings, using a luminous vocabulary. The listener is bathed in colorful sounds and rhythms, contemplating a liquid, shifting landscape that the mist reveals in bits over the course of the 9 compositions.

The story is written and told as you listen, the sounds appear and disappear, each composition inhabits you. The progression of the album is formed of blurred contours, inviting us to tirelessly follow these misty sonic paths.

This podcast is a recording of his set at the final of five parties we threw late last year to celebrate the 10 years anniversary of the Observatory.
