For the past 10 years, Lucie has been deepening her musical knowledge working behind the counter at Phonica Records, catering to London’s ambient, downtempo and deep dance music heads. She is the founder of Introspective Electronics, a platform featuring regular radio shows, guest podcast series and listening events, and together with producer and DJ Alicia, she runs cozy club night series Terra Obscura.

Influenced by sounds such as bebop or progressive psychedelic rock and focused on experimental and ambient music rather than clubbing in its beginnings, Pharma later delved into deep and immersive sound, creating an amalgam that has been interconnected over time to finally take shape in both listening and clubbing sets with a specific musical discourse in each context, connected to dub, trippy sounds and ambient landscapes, where the density between lights and shadows promotes mental activity that prevails over physical activity.

For our next installment, we’re honoured to welcome ABSIS back to the series with a stunning recording of his all-vinyl hybrid DJ set at this year’s Perpendicular Festival.

Equipped with an ISO420 mixer, Pulsar-23, H90 FX, three turntables, and a crate full of heavyweight rhythms, ABSIS delivered a beautifully crafted dub session that warmed the dancefloor on Saturday morning.

The Observatory - ABSIS (Hybrid Set) - Perpendicular 2025

As we approach the end of summer, I am delighted to welcome Marius Bø to Deep Mind Music with an ethereal mix of celestial atmospheres to calm the soul ✧｡⋆.

Inspired by recent time spent in the mountains of Norway, the mix takes us high into the stratosphere, where whispers of cirrus clouds melt into the surrounding sky. Gentle blankets of emotive tones morph around us, as we are carried forth into the sacred chambers of the inner mind.

As the mix progresses, delicate arpeggiated spirals bloom across the imagination, and we are held in delicate suspension above the earth, floating, weightless, in quiet introspection. Thank you Marius for this beautiful mix, a space for deep reflection and blissful harmony within.
