We’re glad to present you our new various artists EP Noritian Hands where we invite artists we love and fellow NORITE companions to share a 12” piece of wax.

For this first volume, Toki Fuko and BLNDR responded to the call, alongside our dear artists Mown and Josef Gaard.

Starting with Toki Fuko, ‘Radium’ takes us into a dark maelstrom of pulsating rhythms and modular frenzy.
BLNDR’s following ‘1080°’, on the other hand, is a full atmospheric fast craziness, mixing high tones, eerie cloudy pads and strange voices from beyond. 
On the B side, Mown ‘Ouroboros’ takes us back on earth with a strong irregular rhythmics alongside enchanting pads coming straight from the depths.
Finalizing the offer, Josef Gaard ‘Oracle Bone’ is a shamanic incantation, its slow pace combined with mysterious sound textures achieving the travel into another reality.

These are the Noritian Hands.

Paul Weck is a vinyl DJ and promoter based in Weimar with roots in Stuttgart. As the co-founder of the Architecture and Music Collective 'Niemandsland' as well as 'X²', he expresses his spatial understanding of musical spaces in his DJ sets, events, and in a theoretical study called 'MUSIC AS SPACE'.


"During my seven-month internship in Brussels, I encountered two new situations: Firstly, I received my first salary, and secondly, I was surrounded by proper record stores in the city where I lived in. These circumstances led to a consistently empty bank account and loads of records that I couldn't even organize in my music discography because I didn't brought my turntables to Brussels. This mix is one of three in which I process my time and the music I discovered while living in a big city for the first time. 

The track selection in this mix is heavily influenced by the incredible Draaimolen set of "Jasss b2b Blawan," which was released during that time and became my most listened set on SoundCloud. I was trying to recreate those outstanding shifts in genres and rhythms without letting individual tracks dominate the set (or me, lol). 

In the end, what sounds so easy through the hands of Blawan and Jasss obviously wasn't that easy because most of the tracks, especially on vinyl with no loop function, sort of ask for an outstanding position and aren't easy to deal with as tools. I did my best to handle those beauties, and I'm honestly really happy that this is the result. I hope my idea comes through. Enjoy!“

Self-meditation is an important aspect of IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy which had a profound impact on my life. 

Self is our internal energy, known as a source or soul. Self is in every one of us. It can't be damaged or broken. It's the source of our compassion, courage, curiosity, and connectedness. It has healing potential in all the parts of our psyche.

When we access more Self within us we can hear and connect with ourselves and with others. We are more grounded so to speak. 

Some time ago I stumbled upon this meditation by Darshan Stevens and as an experiment I put on a techno beat. After a year of this experiment, I believe it's about time to share this tune with you.

When you reach this state, in order for the light to maintain its speed, time would stop as it takes an infinite amount of time for light to reach 300 million meters.

‘Kronosphere’ is trying to define this phenomenon by reproducing the sensation of an outbursting zen state.
This is a frozen moment when everything is resonating in beautiful harmony.
The sounds are creating a sense of being transported through different sublayers of reality, resulting in a sonic voyage into the unknown depths of the psyche.
