The name Binary Thoughts may speak for itself, but there is a much deeper meaning embedded within.

The ancestral way of thinking has always been 'Binary'. In order to understand reality in all its complexity we made a world of oppositions (Day / Night, Man / Woman). Where the law of "All or nothing” rules, there is no in-between. But reality is indeed always more complex and richer than what our 'perception' of the world suggests.

This perception beyond this “All or nothing” connected Ana Bogatinovska and Jovana Gjorgievska. At first strangers to each other, they met at a music festival in their native country; And after a long discussion about electronic music, they've decided to make a project that will connect their slightly different but similar taste in electronic music.

Their dark, unpredictable, underground techno and electronic sounds, evident in their DJ sets, reflects the uniqueness of their one of a kind 'binary' sound, able to take you from darkest corners to the deepest and most colorful nebuale of the universe.

Currently they are exploring the vast horizons of techno music and improving their performance skills, with an aim to create their own unique blend of creativity to start producing music on their own.

Binary 는 그 이름뿐만이 아닌, 그 안에는 훨씬 더 깊은 의미가 내포되어 있다.

우리의 조상들의 사고방식은 언제나 '이항' 이었다. 모든 복잡함 속에서 현실을 이해하기 위해 우리는 대립합을 만들었다. "전부 혹은 무 (無)" 의 이항대립적 법칙이 지배하는 곳에는 중간이 없다. 그러나 현실은 실제로 항상 우리의 '감각' 이 시사하는 것보다 더 복잡하고 풍부하다.

이 "전부 혹은 무 (無)" 를 넘어선 이러한 인식은 Ana Bogatinovska 와 Jovana Gjorgievska 를 연결시켰다. 서로 처음 알게 된 이들은 그들 모국의 음악 축제에서 만났다. 그리고 전자 음악에 대한 오랜 논의 끝에, 그들은 약간 다르지만 비슷한 전자 음악의 취향을 연결할 프로젝트를 만들기로 결정했다.

그들의 DJ 세트에서 명백하게 보이는 그들의 어둡고 예측 불가능한 언더그라운드 테크노와 전자음은 청자들을 가장 어두운 구석에서 가장 깊고 화려한 성운으로 데려갈 수 있는, 일종의 'Binary' 적 특성을 반영한다.

현재 그들은 그들만의 독창성을 창조하기 위한 목적으로 테크노 음악의 광대한 지평을 탐구하고 그들의 플레이 능력을 향상시키고 있다.
