Christian Samsara는 덴마크 태생의 DJ이자 레코드 컬렉터이다. 일렉트로닉 음악에 대한 그의 여정은 어린나이에 시작되었고, 큰 열정을 품은 앰비언트 장르의 디제이가 되었으며 오랫동안 고향 덴마크를 비롯한 전 세계의 수많은 축제와 이벤트에서 공연해왔다.
자연과 고립된 장소에서 영감을 받은 그의 믹스는 깊은 영화적 사운드 스케이프와 유기적인 텍스처 레이어가 돋보이는 앰비언트/다운 템포/IDM 음악으로 이루어진다.
그는 2015년부터 Ultimae Records에 합류했으며, 다가오는 컴필레이션 발매를 위한 작품을 선정하고 있다.

Christian Samsara is a Danish-born DJ and record collector.
His journey into electronic music began back in his early teenagehood and after a few years, he discovered the electronic ambient genre which grew into his big passion and later on, lead him behind the decks.
Since the beginning of his DJ carreer, he performed at a great number of festivals and events accross the world and of course in his homeland, Denmark.
Inspired by the nature and isolated places, his mixes are often a selection of ambient / downtempo / IDM music with deep cinematic soundscapes and layers of organic textures.
He joins Ultimae Records in 2015 and is currently selecting works for an upcoming compilation release.

About:
GAMADON (aka GAvin MAc DONagh) started buying records and DJing in 1996 in Dublin, Ireland. Established the Warehouse Manifesto (WM) record label and guest mix series in 2020. He has a monthly livestream/show for Electronic Convergence playing deep electro and occasionally deep house/techno. Had the privilege of warming up for The Prodigy, on their European tour in cities such as Berlin, Hanover, Prague and Luxembourg in 2015-2016.

Hidekazu Imashige aka Gallery Six is an artist and composer who is based on Miyoshi Hiroshima, Japan.

He began his career as a musician playing drums in some bands, then in 2008, he started making ambient music releasing “Invisible” EP on Twisted Tree Line (UK), “Element Perspective 071” on Element Perspective (Japan) and some self-released albums.

In 2010, Gallery Six with other artists have formed “ArtLism.JP”, is an art group, made up of musician, photographer and film director, met together under the concept of interplay between “Art + Altruism”.

Based on his theme “Multidirectionally considering aesthetics which are very familiar, often forgotten, concealed in nature or events, and finally reveal them”, he has been making ‘sound sketches’ mixing drone sounds mainly created from synthesizer and materials field-recorded when he goes wherever his heart leads.

Hidekazu Imashige (aka Gallery Six) 는 일본 히로시마, 미요시에서 활동하는 아티스트이자 작곡가이다. 그는 뮤지션으로서의 경력을 밴드에서의 드러머로 시작했으며, 2008년 그는 영국의 Tweisted Tree Line 에서 "Invisible" EP 를, 일본의 Element Perspective 에서 "Element Perspective 071" 과 더불어 몇 개의 셀프 릴리즈를 발표하며 앰비언트 음악을 만들기 시작했다. 

2010년 Gallery Six 와 몇몇의 아티스트들은 사진가와 영화 감독, 뮤지션으로 구성된 아트 그룹 "ArtLism.JP" 를 조직했다. 그리고 Art 와 Altruism 사이의 어떤 지점에서 함께해왔다.

그는 "우리와 매우 친숙하며 때로는 잊혀지고 자연이나 사건에 숨어있는 것을 다방향적으로 고려하며, 그리고 마침내 그것을 찾아내는 것" 의 신념을 기반으로, 그의 마음이 이끄는대로, 주로 신디사이저와 필드 레코딩으로 만든 드론 사운드를 믹싱하여 사운드 스케치들을 만들어낸다.

As with all past ‘Reflection’ year-end mixes, I start with a collection of albums I have enjoyed over the year. Through the process of compiling a mix that flows well, songs are whittled down and selected from this collection. This means many of my favorite tracks and albums are often omitted in the process, due to the need for them to fit in a mix that comes together as organically as possible. As I say every year, this isn’t a definitive ‘best-of’ list, but a selection of some of my favorite music from the year in one easily listenable format. It’s the most enjoyable way for me to boil down music I’ve loved from the year using these self-imposed restrictions, for you to then enjoy and discover more.
