Vardae’s creative world is deeply rooted in the psychedelic experience. Dreamed up by an auditory alchemist, Vardae’s highly imaginative take on techno combines microscopic detail, intricate rhythms, celestial soundscapes, and a pervasive depth that pushes listeners to the edges of their perception.

Vardae’s sound is visceral, exuding a ritualistic quality and an alluring, primal energy that bridges the gap between music for the body, mind, and the spirit. The resulting works are metamorphic—dynamic, hypnotic, and immersive sounds spanning forward-thinking techno, hypnotic half-time, and contemporary drum and bass.

Beyond his productions, Vardae’s creative vision extends to his work with Ewo ‘Eyes Wide Open’ Collective, where he curates multisensory experiences like ‘House of the Singing Wood’. This quadraphonic sound haven has been showcased at Europe’s premier festivals, including Per:sona, La Nature, and Monument, offering audiences a space for reconnection and transformation. Ewo also host regular Rituel Résonance events and a bi-monthly Chimera show on LYL Radio further provide platform for guests of shared values. A proponent of collective approaches to sound, Vardae also contributes to the growing gathering that is Ouroboros, a french festival and events series hosted alongside 13 friends.

Vardae continues to pioneer the convergence of psychedelic sound, visual artistry, and cultural curation. Undoubtedly one of my favourite artists at the moment, I am incredibly grateful to have had Vardae on the show! Broadcased live on PBS on the 27th December, 2024.

Bio:

Salva Coromina  aka ABSIS. 
His involvement in the Barcelona scene began in the late 90s under the alias MouseDown/MouseUp, having years of experience as Dj resident in club such as Razzmatazz (The loft) and festivals like Sonar.
He has always been exploring the deeper side of electronic music, moving from ambient to techno. ABSIS currently runs his residency at Laut club in Barcelona with the Midline parties... he is also a resident at the MOSTRA festival in Barcelona and his productions are published on labels such as hivern discs, Affin and Oslated among others.

A London DJing and promotion mainstay since 2006, Casper Clark started using the name Volte-Face in 2014 when his first productions started to land, initially on his own label BleeD, with subsequent appearances on the likes of Semantica, Non-Series and Phorma. The period up until 2019 was marked by appearances at important beacons of the European techno scene such as Berghain, Tresor, Khidi, Trouw, Shelter, Rex, Razzmatazz, Lux and Gare as well as tours of the US and Asia. 

On a somewhat enforced hiatus since 2019, he’s recently found his way back to DJing with a renewed sense of focus and purpose, with a desire to explore and share a wider range of interests than he felt able or permitted to do in the past. His regular ambient series ‘Through The Wreckage’, and usually quite experimental radio shows can be found via his Soundcloud and this mix, his first on a podcast since an ambient set for Monument in 2018, hones in on a deep and heady broken-beat rhythm.

Sarah Wreath has spent years moving through different corners of electronic music, sharpening her craft in deliberate yet effortless ways. Ambient, sound baths, live sets, techno, halftime—she doesn’t just dabble; she inhabits these spaces fully, shaping them with a deep understanding of sound and rhythm. Her range is what sets her apart, allowing her to move between intimate, meditative settings and full-throttle dance floors without missing a step.

Last year was a big one. Her debut album on The Bunker NY hit the right people in the right way, opening doors that led to a standout set at The Bunker party in Brooklyn alongside Nobu, Patrick Russell, and Doltz, a tour through Japan, and a string of upcoming EPs—including one for the legendary Sandwell District, set to drop in just a few weeks.

This time last year, we featured Sarah in our Sundays Are For… series with a beautifully haunting set. Today, she flips the perspective. Her Delayed with… mix isn’t just about atmosphere—it’s about movement. The sound is weighty but fluid, shifting between tightly wound rhythms and wide-open space. There’s a physicality to it, driven by thick, rolling low-end and textures that hover between sharp and submerged. It’s techno built for full immersion, the kind that keeps pulling you in without ever demanding too much.

Sarah Wreath is one of those artists who make techno feel limitless. And if this mix is any indication, she’s only just getting started.

Contributing our latest episode is London’s ANNX, a regular figure within the city’s cutting-edge undercurrent whose many contributions include co-curation of the Whomp, Perspectives, and once-shrouded Magick events, and a residency at the beloved Above Below festival. Anna’s tireless dedication to the scene goes hand-in-hand with her unmistakable talent behind the decks, as evidenced by an impressive repertoire of mixes and set recordings, and which I was fortunate enough to witness first-hand last summer in the Chilterns. Here Anna demonstrates her well-honed craft over the course of two meticulously plotted hours, diving seamlessly into manifold forms of deep, heavy psychedelia before emerging in a wave of euphoric bliss. Mill’s selection is beyond the boundary of genres and styles. With his eclectic music selection spanning across breaks, techno, and ambient, he curates an original and modern sonic landscape.For Mill, a great DJ set is a journey of balancing and merging the mind and music——aurally feeling the space; and physically expressing the emotion.

Besides being a regular selector on the local circuit and underground parties, Mill’s DJing has propelled him to renowned events and venues across Asia. Notable highlights include being invited to perform at the inaugural Hong Kong Boiler Room alongside the members of Utopia, as well as appearances at Mirage in Hanoi, .TAG in Chengdu, Mihn Club in Hong Kong, Groundless Factory in Beijing, Clockenflap in Hong Kong, and many other esteemed locations.

Mill has garnered recognition by sharing his sets on prestigious platforms such as Mixmag Asia, Fritto FM in Milano, and Over Current, Atdge in Seoul where one could appreciate his ability to adapt and evolve while maintaining a distinct artistic character.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning that Mill is also a co-founder of a local emerging collective called Goldway.

In 1995, Sebastian attended his first bunker parties and discovered his love for electronic music. Eventually, in 1998, he began DJing under the name Sebastian Keks. A 100% vinyl DJ with full dedication, his sound is deeply rooted in 90s techno. In October 2000, Sebastian and his twin brother founded the crew Umweltpumpe1, which initially focused on techno events. In 2002, Umweltpumpe1 evolved into a small techno label, Up1 Records. From 2004 until its closing in 2013, Sebastian was a resident DJ at Triebwerk Dresden. In 2014, he launched the event series Nachteulen and Berlin Techno. Since March 2024, he has been a member of SUT - Secret Underground Techno. In 2005, Umweltpumpe1 organized its first party under the name Gepflegtes Klopfen at Triebwerk Dresden, followed by additional events in Germany and Poland. In 2024, another project was launched: Gepflegtes Klopfen Series, a podcast channel focused on publishing techno sets by various DJs without any frills or gimmicks. Radio Host since june 2025 on evosonic radio with his own show ,,Kekscore Moments`` every first Saturday in month 6-8 pm (german time).

Saša started his label in 2023, mainly to release his own music, which he had been producing non-stop over the past 6 -7  years. During those years, a lot has changed both stylistically and technically, but the music has always kept a similar essence. It’s a combination of techno, IDM, and glitch, all packaged with a focus on listening experience in mind rather than club play.
So far, the label has released over 40 records, and this is just the beginning of the story. This recording represents the entire journey. All the music is previously unpublished, created in the studio specifically for Oslated’s special series.

Saša is also very active outside his own label, with releases on respected imprints such as Huinali Recordings, Qeone, NFEREE, and Pyramid Blood.

My name is Genis, and I am a passionate musician who has been developing my unique sound for several years. From a young age, I have dedicated myself to mixing and composing, particularly within the realm of electronic music and its subgenres, while also exploring various genres across the musical spectrum.

Throughout my journey, ambient music and its diverse expressions have played a significant role in both my listening and my compositions. My aim is to share a piece of myself through my music, conveying my most personal emotions.

For the production of this live set, I utilized recordings I have gathered over the years, along with post-productions created specifically for this occasion, VST synthesizers, digital audio workstations (DAWs), and a variety of sample recordings. I also incorporated digital controllers into the set.

Influenced by sounds such as bebop or progressive psychedelic rock and focused on experimental and ambient music rather than clubbing in its beginnings, Pharma later delved into deep and immersive sound, creating an amalgam that has been interconnected over time to finally take shape in both listening and clubbing sets with a specific musical discourse in each context, connected to dub, trippy sounds and ambient landscapes, where the density between lights and shadows promotes mental activity that prevails over physical activity.
