Corentin Boubay is a French visual, sound and performer artist based in Strasbourg. Its performances relies on a process of research and sound experimentation that he juxtaposed with writing. His aim is to weave together his feelings and emotions, to create worlds that oscillate between dreamlike, poetic and tragedy. He is interested in the place of physical and psychic bodies in their environments.

Tristan Boltz (Olorun), who trained as an architect, adopts an interdisciplinary approach to music. His sound work focuses on the conflicting relationships between man and his environment. It is a contemplative approach to the physical and energetic interactions that take place between them.

Description
Metamorphosis is an audiovisual live performance composed and played by Corentin Boubay and Tristan Boltz. This production try to transcribe physical and metaphysical elements through sound, using a contemplative, energy-based approach. The soundscape is close to ambient, drone, glitch and noise. It’s an invitation to travel, questioning the links between human and nature.

A student at the Haute École des Arts du Rhin, Corentin's work revolves around sound, video and performance. Through his performances, he aims to create worlds where dreams, poetry and tragedy are intertwined, establishing connections between his emotions and feelings. He pays particular attention to the place of bodies, both physical and psychic, in their environments using sound as a means of transmission.

He also works on the perception of time and its effect on memory which is characterised by an acoustic approach to matter. Finally, it focuses on the subtlety and richness of sound waves, both electrical and physical.
