Lyder’s new album “weird fishes” is a shimmering dive into the unknown. With effervescent textures and dreamlike instrumentations, the electroacoustic trio invites listeners into a surreal seascape. Saxophone, violin, voice, and keys, all filtered and transformed, weave through ambient waters that feel both tender and disorienting. Each track explores a distinct layer of the deep – from sunlit shallows to abyssal ruins where forgotten echoes linger. “weird fishes” is a sonically fluid journey: colorful, strange, and full of hidden life.

When we created the label in 2017, our idea was to push new talents and to create an artist community following our philosophy. The six tracks here describe well the universe we want to promote, raw, mental and sci-fi techno with a big attention to details and sound design. 

The various starts with a close friend of the label Soul Tide Zone that show us another side of his project with a powerful ambient track “Oracle”. Then comes “Tembeling”, produced by one of the label manager 9beats, mixing sci-fi forest ambiance with a strong organic bassline. Third track “A.I.” is from the Lyon based DJ and composer Nicolas Rifo, fast rolling toms with a dark atmosphere will guide you on this one. The first part of the various shows that CWR is not intended to focus on one style but more on the emotion and ambiance of the tracks. 

Second part starts with the parisian based modularist dc11 and his track “Electron”. He took our attention these last months, dropping really strong and precise techno that clearly match the label. Then comes “Supo x1000” from Mersel that will easily find a place on your sets. Last artist highlight on this release is Benabou with her track “Torment”, mixing analog percussions with a strong lead.

Epsilon is a musical art project by the tunesian producer Yassine Zouaoui. He works a lot with his own voice, which gives his productions a very unique character. With his dark and experimental tracks he tries to get rid of his inner pain which he also releases through singing. Since he is a really good vocalist he combines his own creations of organic and experimental sounds with his own touch which defines a lot of his latest work.

In exploratory pursues of the surreal and natural, Szórëgg seeks the inherent attraction found in synthesis leaning towards organic, odd and intricate feelings along ethnic history.

Such sonic attributes have led him to conceptual prospects that deal with ancestral, mythological and tribal depictions feasibly found in soundscapes, textures and percussion in wide-array civilizations. Driven by magic grooves.

The tales recounted in 'Portrayals of Zerzura' outline the setting of a long vanished recondite spot west of the Nile River recognized as a magic, lost oasis city. Resolved by the oath of discovery, a wanderer travels near the sand surroundings where such a place is said to be spotted.

The series of anecdotes showcase the adventurous and psychic features found inside and around the outskirts of the mythical city, where individuals and creatures stumble across the wanderer’s journey, who shall survive with sparkling Portrayals of Zerzura.

Crescent London is a new deep & hypnotic techno label centred on ambient textures and dub elements. For the label launch, the London-based collective put together a 13 track 'Various Artists' compilation of some of their favourite producers. Named "Magnetic Fields", the V/A is focusing on electric atmospheres and textures, locking the listener deep in the groove and the hypnosis. From drone and euphoric atmospheres to detailed broken-techno, the compilation displays a textured view on contemporary techno, elegant and mental, yet ready for the clubs to re-open.
