We are overjoyed to announce our second EP ‘Phase Drift’ with UK-based @sub-basics, available both on digital and 12’’ vinyl. For this second release, we wanted to focus on a single artist while also showcasing the UK music scene. We both share a deep appreciation for Sub Basics’ distinct style which remains deeply rooted in the foundational sounds of drum & bass, dubstep and techno.

The Debut album from akaJazy and Floor 0's collaborative project "Eccodust" encompasses the conflict between technology and nature, depicting the eventual collapse of the former and regrowth of the latter. Comprised of contrasting hazy atmospheres and mechanical textures, the duo’s combined effort create a uniquely gorgeous yet uneasy listen. Whether you’re listening to the subtle beauty of “Crystal Cavern”, the building wall of feedback of “Cognition”, or the cacophony of the final track “Urban Decay”, the project is full of stand-out moments.

Inspired and produced during 2022, The duo was fascinated by the conflicting elements in their environments. From abandoned buildings tangled by foliage to deteriorating railways swallowed by the earth, the duo sought to replicate and empathise with the haunting feelings emerging from such locations. The recording process of the album saw the duo capturing field recordings at the specific locations that inspired it, including a trip to the Forest of Dean, symbolic for its history of being exploited for it’s resources.

'Body' by Déandrah is Marguerite Records' 18th release.

Body took shape during a strange year, a time when the fabric of existence seemed to fray and shift—welcoming the cries of new beginnings even as others marked inevitable ends. The wails of arrival and departure harmonised in a single breath, tracing the fragile rhythm and fleeting significance of being. The album became my compass through this liminal space, an exploration of the body's frailty and the mind's enduring strength—a map of transitions charted through sound.

The track titles—Bladder, Larynx, Spleen, Trachea, Vertebra, Index Finger, Shank, Sphincter—assemble a fragmented anatomy, each piece a quiet witness to the mechanics of existence. These parts, uncelebrated and often unnoticed, bear the weight of our survival, tethering us to life’s ceaseless flow. Together, they chart the tension between fragility and resilience, control and surrender, function and decay—a somatic blueprint that mirrors the tenuous balance of our inner and outer worlds.

Each sound, from spring reverbs struck like percussion to broken mixers and unravelling tape loops, became part of this mosaic, chaotic yet intentional. The mournful cries of a dog longing for its absent companion added haunting textures, their rawness woven into the vocals and ambient layers. Roaring hums and banshee-like screams from analogue synths and filterbanks carried an emotional weight that felt both visceral and cathartic.

This is Body: a collection of disjointed yet connected moments. A reflection of how we are shaped not only by what we endure but also by what we release—and what we cling to. Finite and mortal, we carry burdens and histories that time erodes, even as the mind, unbound, reaches for something eternal. Ideas born in fading moments outlive their source, colliding with the noise of the present to become something both rooted and ever-changing.

The journey begins in the valley, where instinct guides the first steps. There is no plan, only a feeling - to leave the car behind and follow the nearest path upwards. The trail leads through a forest drenched in moss, damp earth underfoot, and the quiet breath of pines shading the way.
It is a beginning wrapped in stillness, as if the mountain itself is waiting.

As the ascent grows steeper, the landscape opens little by little. Between the trees, sudden windows of light reveal sweeping views of the surrounding hills, endless forests stretching across the horizon. Each pause carries a sense of wonder, the climb itself becoming part of the rhythm. The higher the path winds, the lighter the heart becomes, as though every step pulls the spirit closer to something timeless.

Near the summit, a hidden cave emerges. From the outside, it seems small and unassuming - but inside, it unfolds into a vast, otherworldly chamber. Stalactites and stalagmites form silent sculptures, while the last glow of the setting sun pours through the entrance, bathing the stone in a magical light. It feels like stepping into a secret only nature can hold, a moment of awe suspended in time.

This EP carries those impressions into sound — the quiet beginning in the valley, the momentum of ascent, and the luminous mystery discovered at the peak. A translation of fleeting beauty into rhythm and tone, held like an echo of the mountain itself..

A heartbeat of dub, deep and low,
Echoing where the shadows go.
Through dusty and hissy trails of sound,
a timeless rhythm spins around.
The space between, so vast, so clear,
A distant voice we strain to hear.
Looping sequences, boundless wide,
pull us into the cosmic tide.
Chords shimmer soft, then fade away,
like twilight bending into gray.
Each note, a star, a point, a trace,
floating gently through endless space.
Distant whispers, a lunar hymn,
draws us out, then pulls us in.
A cycle turning, soft and true,
a dub-drenched dream beneath night's blue.

In his debut album, raptAGOG draws inspiration from imagined scenes of geological movement — tectonic plates shifting, subducting, and pressing against one another. 
This hidden but perpetual motion beneath us stores potential energy, waiting for the moment of release, when the earth begins to shift and reshape.

The album opens into a rugged, shifting landscape, where sounds roll and echo in gradual motion. 
This energy builds across the work, unfolding through cycles of tension and release. 
Earthy and textural sounds ground the work in a shifting and fracturing geology.
