Long term friends and kindred spirits Max Sinàl & To The Rock join forces to bring you 'Ravage Music' for the London based imprint's 22nd release. Max is starting the year as he left off in 2023 which saw him launch the Max Sinàl moniker, alongside Soul Quest Records - a label he co-founded. In just a few months he earned the title of one of DJ Mag's Best Emerging Artists and gained support from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Laurent Garnier, Kai Alce, Aroop Roy and many more. His release 'Let You In' also went on to be included in Bandcamp's best releases of 2023.

To The Rock is also hot off the back of its hugely popular winter release 'Angels' by House Gospel Choir feat MORGAN, which saw plenty of love topping the Traxsouce charts at the back end of last year and was supported by the who's who of the soulful DJ community and music industry.

Their latest offering from Max Sinàl demonstrates the labels diversity as they move into the raw & stripped back territory with this deep swinging, jazzy house jam with slick vocal sampling and that all essential UK grit which gives a nod to Max's pirate station garage roots. If that's not enough the release comes with a sped up, stripped back dub which provides that extra dark kick to the release.

Producing out of his hometown of Aalborg, Kornum has been a force within the Danish electronic community for 20 years, DJing with the likes of Purple Disco Machine, Boris Dlugosch, and Felix The Housecat. Now, let’s talk about “Showdown.” This ain’t just another cookie-cutter track. Oh no, my friends. Beatservice Records offer up something rather special this time out, with Flash Atkins arriving on the label with no less than three remixes of Third Attempt's 'Keep Your Head Up'.

Producer Flash Atkins should need little in the way of introduction, the Manchester-based artist having served up countless dancefloor moments over the years - most often on the legendary Paper Recordings. He's known for crafting glittering, disco-centric sounds, and has worked with the likes of Kathy Diamond, Leilani, George Demure, and Danielle Moore among others.

Here, he delivers typically refined versions of 'Keep Your Head Up' from label regular, Third Attempt, a track lifted from last year's brilliant 'Momentary Bliss' album. The main remix toughens up the drums to add a little more thrust to the dreamy instrumentation, with spacey overdubs and staccato synths adding a gently psychedelic quality to the memorable strings and piano licks of the original.

The 'Dub' version strips back the orchestration to allow the rhythm to take centre stage as a distorted riff carries the groove across a floor-focused arrangement - a hypnotic motif that carries through to the gorgeously atmospheric 'Reprise' mix, where the drums give way to the celestial harmonics and evocative vocal textures.

Three magnificent interpretations, each of which is primed to enhance various shades of musical mood - from the main room to the back room and far, far beyond.

Boolaboom are a 20 piece band based in Cork and comprising musicians from all over the globe including Brazil, Chile, USA, UK, New Zealand, France, and Ireland under the direction of band leader and producer Darragh O’Connor.

OsloClubCast was initiated by Vinny Villbass in 2012 to promote the emerging club scene of the norwegian capitol. Every week, the clubs of Oslo sent resident dj´s to record their sets at the tiny venue Turkish Delight (RIP). The response, both live and online was massive!

Since then, OsloClubCast has been hosting recordings at festival stages and different Oslo venues, focusing on both legendary and fresh talents, spreading the essence of the norwegian sound.
