Emerald Garden is happy to open its ambient podcast channel with a first episode written by the talented Letvian artist living in Germany Laima Adelaide.

Laima is a student in classical composition at University of Music and the Performing Arts of Stuttgart, and yet, she shines by creating atonal and tuneless sounds. Her compositions are filled with wet and organic textures that will drive your soul to the farthest swamps. We are super happy to have her for our first podcast.

Far Out Radio Systems is the intriguing alias of Belgian scientist-musician Thomas Neyens. On one side Professor in Statistics (UHasselt & KU Leuven) with an interest within the fields of spatial statistics and ecology. On the other hand music producer with a passion for West Coast Synthesis leading to a musical output typified by minimal aesthetics and quirky melodies. There’s without doubt a certain analogy between both worlds.

After a set of releases on his own Tanzbar Records & Curle Recordings, Thomas disconnected from the urge to serve DJ's and a dance floor and gained confidence to make exactly the music that he always wanted to make, away from any prior expectations. This led to the debut album "On Boolean Plains”, released in 2020 on Dutch imprint Something Happening Somewhere.  It's pure, deep, and raw.  The album ventures from ambient and IDM into distorted acid house and techno. Edgy electronic dance music about a world in distress. Along with the album came a full analog live performance, which he premiered at the iconic Horst Arts & Music Festival (Belgium) 2021.

The set he delights us with today contains a lot of unreleased tracks and live-jams, made especially for our platform <3

Introspective Electronics w/ Avsluta x Netil Radio | August 22

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of interviewing an incredibly talented Anna Jordan, aka The Allegorist, who introduced us to her creative world of music, visuals, poetry, paintings, and much more. We also talked about her fourth, critically acclaimed album 'Blind Emperor' and its creative process. Six months later, we've got another piece of the puzzle from the world of The Allegorist. The Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist made the mix for us, which we have listened to several times already. The mix is a dark, moody, and cinematic escapade that features tracks from our favorite artists like Voices From The Lake, Vivian Koch, Rival Consoles, and The Allegorist herself.

I recorded these, using only the Roland T8 drum machine, outside as it got dark.
The first one I did at the beach in Crete (130 bpm) and the second one, a week later, in a park in Vienna (120bpm).
These spontaneous sessions are so much fun, specially at such beautiful places.

Echofront is an album that lives in the tension between shadow and radiance, between the ruins of memory and the pulse of the present. The songs unfold as fragments - half-dreamt images of stone, glass, fire, rivers, and neon - stitched into the rhythm of melodic techno. These lyrics trace the outlines of spaces where silence gathers force: cathedrals crumbling under rain, tunnels painted with defiance, rivers carrying ancestral masks, and cities burning into light. Each track is an echo carried forward, a resonance that reveals both fragility and persistence, where every fracture or stain also hints at renewal. The music embraces this ambiguity, weaving deep beats with textures that shimmer, fracture, and reform, as if sound itself were both memory and prophecy.

At the heart of the album is the idea of the echo not as repetition, but as transformation. Echoes blur time, bending it into seams where identity slips, boundaries dissolve, and breath becomes dream. Echofront steps into those seams, letting voices fade and return in altered forms, letting rhythms erode and rebuild, letting light refract into the darkness. The music is neither nostalgic nor utopian, but rather a navigation of thresholds - of endings that carry within them the charge of beginnings, of masks that reveal by concealing, of serpents that coil both danger and desire. In this way, the album moves like a front advancing across shifting terrain: charged with energy, haunted by silence, and always carrying the possibility of becoming something new.
