Since releasing her debut EP on Detroit Underground in 2017, she has been active in live performances, installation art, and DJing. After moving to Bristol, UK, in 2022 to deepen her exploration of sound, she returned to Japan in 2024. Her latest LP, es, released the same year, is an experimental collection blending ambient and techno. Rooted in the concept of “Sound to _____ this magnificent cell,” her sonic works constantly invite listeners on new journeys.

A Way With Music w/ Osmanbas - 14th August 2025

[HARMONY021]— Harmony marches eastward with its 21st EP, reconnecting with its roots through a collaboration with Kohra and Monophonik. While firmly grounded in the label’s deep-techno foundations, this release leans into a sharper focus on functional, dance oriented grooves and basslines.

A-side is opening with weight and intent, shedding the EP’s melancholic hues for something darker and more forceful. The gently broken spirit of “Uyire” follows, gliding between drones and gated vocals, stitched together by tactile percussion and an underlying volatility.

“Wavefolding Dreams” lives up to its name—wickedly modulated waveforms rise from a slapping bassline that pour like upside-down rain, finally dissolving into soothing, dreamy pads.

“Eastern Timbers” starts B-side with a deep, driving momentum. Trancey basslines and swinging arpeggios ebb and flow with tidal pads, wrapping the EP in a hypnotic finish that pulses with forward energy.

Decompress with “Neuroresonance” situated on the inner ring of the B-side. Suspenseful sliding drones in a wide stereo field and a sustained chord that breathes nostalgia, covered by a playful filter in motion.

Kohra & Monophonik - Eastern Timbres [HARMONY021] *EP Preview

Harbinmoths has been constantly active in the Estonian underground techno scene since 2020. He picked up the groove and mixing skills very quickly thanks to his childhood piano studies and singing in the church choir every Sunday. This has been a great benefit to his musical hearing and he knows how to use it – his constantly changing selection of tracks goes through a pretty tough check before being put on the flash drive. On the selection you will hear deep and solid grooves, driving basslines and every once and then some rave and even a few melodies, but the main focus stays always on the 4/4 rhythm which keeps him (and you) going. If you want to know what fast modern techno this year sounds like you should catch Harbinmoths playing for sure.
