9dwa is the co-founder of @noiseworkers, originally from Marseille and now based in Paris. Having grown up with trip-hop and psychedelic music, shaped his taste and vision both in how he approaches sound but also the way is being perceived, whether immersed, facing a sound system or through the intimacy of headphones. By striving to fuse experimental materials with “club” music, Thomas sculpted a style which is crafting DJ sets capable to unfold like narratives, each with its own particulare setting, a starting with a certain direction and ending over some unespected twists and turns.

pi premiere: Dreams - Dangerous When Wet [Spectral Bounce]

Across four tracks, it looks to merge minimalism with rhythmic invention, starting with the rugged 'Psi' with its thudding kicks and moody synths. 'Fluid' then brings more lithe, urgent rhythms with deft sound designs adding a futuristic edge and 'Interstate' then brings more raw texture and tension with heavy drones and paranoid spoken words that pan about the mix. 'Resin' shuts down with a nice tight blend of kicks and hits that is easy to latch onto and get lost in.
