Mirrorlake - Crateria

Hailing from Bandung, Diannov Pamungkas, emerged onto the scene under the alias Xin Lie, when he actively started hosting radio broadcasts alongside the local D collective, C*SSS. Initially, he marked his DJ debut within the hardcore punk scene that shaped his upbringing. However, it was his nostalgic connection to his childhood experiences that propelled him towards the world of Reak/Kuda Renggong, a traditional Sundanese performing art characterized by a captivating display of horsemen. Inspired by this enchanting spectacle, Diannov embarked on a personal journey, recording the mesmerizing sounds of Dogdog, the long tubular single-headed leather drums, and skillfully incorporating them into his own unique style of percussion. Infused with elements from the vibrant contemporary club culture, Diannov meticulously crafted his own rhythm and sound, establishing himself as a true innovator in the realm of music.
