I went down on the corner to meet my mates

I texted a girl that I just got to know 
would you go out with me I thought I'd give it a go

and watching the garbage filled sea made me feel like a piece of debris
floating lost and forlorn on a bottomless ocean of misery

I wanted to apply a 2 chords progression to a new song, but was constantly reminded of other songs on 2 chords and wound up writing a medley of three pieces.

From 1972 "Walk on the Wild Side" written and sung by Lou Reed.
