The epitome of positive energy: Cricket has shown us that outerspace can in fact be full of glimmering light.

Cricket is a Vinyl DJ and producer hailing from the Inner West in Sydney. She is a long-time curator and collector of music. 

Her sets always feature canorous lines and lavish textures, favouring melodic expression for both joyous and introspective moments. 

She oscillates between funk and nu-disco, to melodic and deep house, edging and merging the confines of genre. Her sets are undeniably bouncy, with high danceability and ebbing energy. 

Cricket has played for radio and mixes across Australia, and she works alongside agencies to bring visibility and employment to female-identifying vinyl DJs. 

She is frequently seen wheeling her massive collection of vinyl to warehouses, bars, clubs and pop-ups across Sydney. Alongside her passion pursuit, she works professionally as a music curator - she's highly adept at locating the pulse of her environment and translating it to sound.

A true translator.
