Before Alex moved to Arizona for college, he wrote a song for our band but that song never was recorded, only demoed. So while in Arizona, he has redone the demo and I sent him this file that was used over some parts.

Well, I did one so I thought that I might as well do another…

Again, it all began with playing around with Arturia's excellent ARP2600. This time it's actually just one note played - The melody was achieved by reprogramming the step sequencer, sort of "on the fly", with the aid of the automation features provided by Logic and the plugin. 

Also, I couldn't resist fiddling about a bit with my new ebow.

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to work with Christian on this one (who's a proper and talented musician, not just a hack like me). It's a collab that's been in the works for a while (mostly held up by me being such a lazy old git). It got a second wind when talented bassist Leitnerjoe agreed to play fretless bass on it (check his stuff out, on SC and on YouTube!). His great skill and style makes the whole thing sound really cool!

Once again - There's quite a lot of Japan influences.
