Tresor resident DJs LNS and DJ Sotofett have for some years been developing a style at the club's Globus floor, and their new EP is a die cut of exactly the classic techno, electro, and house music they play. Here are no productions drenched in reverb, no hi-fi obsessions or generic algorithmic patterns – this is Globus Trax, the duo's third release on Tresor Records, four tracks consisting of real TR-909 workouts, rude and driving basslines, live runs through the mixing desk, and a Blake Baxter cover version with LNS on vocals. 
 
LNS & DJ Sotofett programmed an EP to perfectly fit their warehouse style of DJing, bringing out colour and variation in a spectrum more similar to a club compilation than a dogmatically reduced concept. With a single repeated vocal sample, Globus Trax opens bombastically with ClickClickClick, a dub-infused UK garage house track anyone in the world can easily describe in the course of a second.
 
Following this comes Gearbox which is a hefty slab of big room electro featuring a centerpiece arpeggio and the warmest harmonic pads on the EP's four tracks, which not-so-subtly makes reference to the pioneering band that shares a name with Globus and Tresor's home, the Kraftwerk. 
 
The house vibe returns on Destination 909, which is nothing but a manifesto for the TR-909, where the beloved drum machine's jacking beats meet galactic strings and synthetic bass, only to be ripped apart in a slamming break that sees the machine take centre stage as it cuts in-and-out of the mix, again a clear nod to the duo's sets in the club.
 
LNS steps up on vocal duties and DJ Sotofett keeps the 909 running for their final cut, taking a deeper dive into the realms of classic techno and paying tribute to "The Prince of Techno" Blake Baxter by covering his Reach Out originally released on Tresor Records in 1995.
 
The 12" was cut by DJ Sotofett himself at Manmade Mastering, where he resurrects the lost art of late-90s loud cuts with sonic presence and punch, optimal for the club-focused 12" format, and is the first to come in the new Tresor Sleeve, boasting an embossed logo on either side.

Domenico Crisci brings Italian artist Audio Resistance into the fold of his label Summa Cum Laude, showcasing the DJ, producer, and audio engineer's stark and powerful sonic vision.

A devoted lover of modular and analog synthesizers, Audio Resistance has been crafting immersive soundscapes since 2016. His discography includes releases on Lewis Fautzi’s Faut Section and the renowned italian techno label ARTS. He also curates his own imprint Collapse, where his pure sonic vision takes shape.

His latest work, "Esosfera," is a space-bound exploration consisting of four techno, sci-fi, and experimental tracks. Each piece was created through improvised recordings using Eurorack modular systems and analog synthesizers.

Faithful to the scene's legacy, he skillfully handles its codes with respect while reinterpreting them through the lens of new sonic languages.
Orphée has shared the stage with renowned DJs such as Stef Mendesidis, Nastia, Steffi, Sol Ortega, Ignez, Justyn Nell, and François X, to name just a few.
He is the co-founder and artistic director of the label and collective Void Records, now a firmly established presence in the electronic music scene in Paris.
His musical project, however, is far from monolithic. A connoisseur of electronic music in all its diversity, he seamlessly oscillates between styles and genres, always in service of the groove, the dancefloor, and the dancers.
He is also a passionate lover of the art of the opening set, an exercise he regularly hones with meticulous attention to detail.

Presented on a double CD and digitally, ‘Tessellations’ charts a path from Guy Andrews and Aïsha Devi’s widescreen soundscapes and the offbeat electronic pop of 18+ and Snow Ghosts, through the analogue 4/4 pulse of Marquis Hawkes and Shift Work, to Akkord and Special Request’s visceral re-imagining of hardcore.

Tracks from Call Super, Throwing Snow and Second Storey occupy those hard-to-define – yet often most exciting – spaces in between, gluing together the selection along with contributions from House of Black Lanterns, Soft as Snow and _Unsubscribe_.

25 years old, born, raised and based in Berlin, but all at home in the club. Nitam’s debut Retold EP (U-TON 06) already set the tone in 2015, and here we are three catalogue numbers and 14 months later with his second 12" release on Unterton taking a similar line as his debut four-tracker did: new varied sonic themes with an overall fresh sound. Although still being young of age, Nitam outlines once again his interest in dance music from the late 80s and early 90s, presenting himself schooled by classic Detroit House as well as Chicago Acid House, but all without limiting himself to a restricted pallet of styles or catering towards musical expectations.

Following on from impeccable remixes from the likes of Stimming and ESS, Alan Fitzpatrick steps up to the plate to showcase a deeper side to his productions. Still keeping things weighty, Alan’s remix leads with pads and four to the floor drums that envelope out into an anthemic emotive cut that manages to retain all the goodness of the original.

He spent the next few years fostering his deep jazzy house style, and in 1998 he broke through with his first album, One Starry Night, which has the distinct honor of being considered a deep house classic. With close to 100 single releases, 8 albums and many mix cd's over the years since, Kevin has earned his reputation as an artist who has no desire to stop creating music and pushing forward. The audience is invited into the private world of Kevin Yost, and given an experience that he has spent his life captivated with, that sacred moment when inspiration manifests into a tangible reality and music is breathed to life. As personal and creative Kevin’s DJ sets can be, his "Live & Improvised" shows are spellbinding to watch as the audible vision flows from him into music and then into the hearts of the crowd.
