The "legendary Congolese band has joined forces with acclaimed Angolan/Portuguese artist Batida aka Pedro Coquenão."

Their sound is a spectacular electro-traditional mix.  With only rudimentary amplification and handmade instruments they have managed to  create otherworldly music for over 40 years.

They have collaborated with the likes of Björk and Herbie Hancock.

His interest in tropical roots music led him to found, with your partner Marco Caballero, the project called “Bomba Tropical”, which rescues the sound memorabilia of the vinyls records where many Latin American tropical styles were published such as mambo, guaracha, porro, cumbia, chicha, salsa, guaguancó, son, marimba, among others. This project has taken the original Latin sounds to countries like Mexico, Brazil, Spain and France.
