On this episode we welcome back beloved guest @analogdakarclub for an all Cameroonian affair. Here is his words on the mix:

A musical journey on Cameroonian soil is anything but a straight line. Like the roads of this immense and impenetrable country, we deviated, turned back, sometimes we got bogged down while digging in our vinyl records. We have re-discovered treasures of Bikutsi rhythms (traditional dance relating to the Beti ethnic group) and Makossa (an exclusive component of the Douala culture), arranged in soukous sauce, with more bass and brass, West Indian influences (Jacob Desvarieux was
there) and funky (props goes to Aladji Touré the so intense bass player) marrying the rhythms of Mangembeu (It's a traditional Bamileke dance). Cameroon is a musical continent to which this mixpays tribute by touching on its incredible musical richness.

Ali, runs the Warm booking agency day to day working with acts such as Horse Meat Disco, Gerd Janson, Henrik Schwarz, Hot Chip, Jungle and many more. Alongside this, he also runs events by the seaside in Bournemouth and the occasional event across the UK and Europe from time to time. 

He has previously held down Warm residencies at clubs such as Plastic People, The End and Bussey Building over the years. 2020 will see the launch of RE:WARM a reissue label which will see 7"s, 12"'s, LP's and compilations so keep those eyes peeled along with a series of DJ dates throughout the year accompanied by his Warm seaside partner in crime and Eclectics side kick, Micky Browne. 

The mix was put together as the sun was setting over the Purbecks and the accompanying artwork was the view that accompanied the selection/mix.
