Sounds like your kind of thing? Then this one's for you. When Holly North decided to pack a punch into his long-year musical training and to turn towards dance music, he made quite some heads turn. Now the young hotshot producer from Germany drops his debut album. Morphing through ever new twists and turns like some sort of living sonic entity it sounds highly coherent, yet new and different all the time. Also, it truly lives up to its title: Odyssey. Descriptions like Melodic Techno or Melodic House and a nod towards the harmonic principles of Trance give an idea of what this epic journey is about, yet they fail to draw the whole picture. After releasing their smashing debut EP ‘Fields’ that was well received with featured remixes by Madmotormiquel, Genii, Canson, and Noraj Cue we welcome back Roswita and Nash with their new project moniker called @roswithanash. Due to the pandemic they couldn’t bring their sound to the stage. Instead, they poured their quiet Corona hours into creating and can’t wait to share all of it with you.

For now, we are releasing the single ‘Don’t go asking’. A 7 minute moment where they say: it’s alright. The single is completed with a beautiful slow remix by Berlin’s legendary music duo Mira & Chris Schwarzwälder. Can you hear the promising summer buzzing in the warm chords...?

Don’t go asking started out as a combination of a sample of a rough legged owl and a few broken bonds between some human people. In its core the story and feeling of the track is about new beginnings. The chords carrying the track are one part “Where do I go next?” and one part “It’s already okay”. For the detailed listener, someone is very softly asking... How are you? But as the vocals loud and clearly answer: We don’t need to ask
each other that question anymore. They are old and tired, and whatever is happening now is new, young, and full of potential. It’s alright.

12 months after the debut album of Piotr Bejnar was released, we achieved gathering 4 remixes from this album. Piotr turned to the artists he most admired and who stated for him as great authorities. The record starts with a beautiful remix of the song "Bagieta" made by Ada from Pampa records. Second track is a dance version of the "Jellyfish" made by Piotr Bejnar himself. The third artist on the record is Piotr's idol from many years - Frivolous. To this one Piotr stood up to since childhood as a long- term fan of Frivolous, buying his albums and tracking his path. And now as for the crowning of the record - stands an artist closely related to Otake records – Kalipo with a total dance floor banger remix of “Jellyfish”

From tomorrow you will find records in most Polish vinyl stores. From next week we launch foreign distribution. Vinyls will be available on decks, juno, etc.

It's a unique feeling of ease and unpretentious elegance that reveals the long-year experience of an old hand. The productions of David Keno are a wonderful example: The functional grooves of the Berlin resident put the principle of ‘quality over quantity’ in a nutshell. On his Waterfront EP he presents two highly immersive dance tracks that are immensely catchy without any trace of flashiness, their organic melodies folding and unfolding with minimalist grace.
