Keylo Tha Gawd was born on the Southeast side of Houston, Texas. At 12 years old, he started practicing freestyle rapping- a big part of local Houston hiphop culture. At 16 years old, he helped form a rap group called, Dangerous Grounds, with some friends and recorded music for the first time. He lists his musical influences as Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Flip, Devin the Dude, Nate Dogg, J-Dilla, A Tribe Called Quest, Prince, Muddy Waters, Linkin Park, and Metallica. These influences are seen throughout the crafting of his sound and electrifying live performances. As Keylo builds the foundation of his music career through smart business moves within the industry, he looks forward to helping provide a better life for future generations.
