Human connection and music is what keeps Jantango’s heart alive, so this is the theme that upholds his music.  Heath fuses the off-kilter with hopeful tones and melancholic timbres that always find their way back to heart. 

Having moved to the Gold Coast from the Melbourne warehouse and festival scene in 2016, these days you’ll find Jantango in the palm trees, having swapped the booty-house for textured beats and slower BPM’s, as the sub-tropical climate permits.

ShifteQ (said Shif’tek) is a project now nearly 10 years deep.
A love of music, sharing, and positive human gatherings drove Shane to dive in from DJing straight into production very early on in his obsession. Deriving inspiration from early Dubstep, a love for HipHop beats, Breakbeat, Downtempo, Chill, Intricate Minimal and a need to remix reality, ShifteQ encompasses many ideas. Never really sticking to a single genre, or allowing one thing to dictate the creation process, and choosing to self teach, gives way to a no rules process of making music and mixing.
Having lived in many parts of Australia, and being involved in the festival culture for many years, ShifteQ has dropped sets at many outdoor festivals, including Spelndor in the Grass (NSW), Earth Frequency Festival (QLD), Rainbow Serpent (VIC), Wide Open Space (Alice Springs, NT), Cairns Winter Solstice, Eclipse 2012 (Cairns), Manifest (NSW), Deliverance (NSW) and many more.
Also having been involved in indoor events, both hosting and supporting. Some of the most notable experiences across his time in the game have been opening for Opiuo, Spoonbill, JPod, playing a 5hr verses set with Defunk (Canada) in Alice Springs, and having iLL.Gates jump up on stage during a remix of a track during a set at Earth Frequency, and a road trip and support act for Beats Antique the first time they were in Australia.
Sharing his love for music across multiple projects, QuiverD a minimal techno project with his partner. And his bigger dream to get The MakeShift Collective off the ground, are all part of making a platform for good music, and good people to thrive in Australia. The MakeShift Collective has begun putting on events in Melbourne, the most notable was ‘The Gangsta’s Ball”, and is teaming with Twisted Audio for “Alice in Underland”, and planning many more in the future. Shane is now deep in study at the Australian Institute of Music getting a degree in Entertainment Management. 
When it all comes down to the MUSIC, expect either some dreamy downtempo, or if its about the dancefloor, some beats with Gangsta attitude, deep 808, fun remixes, something to make you dance, and most of all some BASS. <3
