Jane Fitz took the stage twice with a B2B set this at rural 2024, and she appeared on the final day with her musical partner Jade Seatle, who co-hosts the DIY party “Night Moves” in their home, London. The final day started out rainy, but ended up with sunny skies. This set was deeply connected with such a dramatic ending. Enjoy this euphoric collection of left-field tech house gems.

"Being very honest, not every release has a charming story about being an exotic find or hearing it somewhere on a special occasion. Most of the time, the whole reissue process starts late at night on the Discogs explore page, with a difficult-to-explain feeling in the gut... There’s always a mixture of different feelings that come with sliding into someone’s life and asking about a record they made 30-something years ago."

Caim is the culmination of years of knob twitching, crate digging and intense partying.

The Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Caim surprises every time with rare finds from the nineties and zeroes, from techno to trance and from breakbeat to house. With residencies at Mood, the Tribe and Breakfast Club, whilst running his own label Lonely Planets Records, Mark Peeters is known for his notoriously deep and long (after-hours) sets. In the studio, Caim produces organic techno and stripped-down house with a touch of trance.

As an avid believer that some songs shine only under the right circumstances he doesn’t shy away from weaving repetitive loops with patterns of ambience just to let some hands-up moments unfold every now and then. Since he doesn’t like to think in categories, his best guess to describe his vivid 4/4 sets would be “Hypnocelestial salsa-dub house”.

The compilation kicks off with Goiz’s ‘Crab's Dub’, a bouncy downtempo number from the young Miami juggernaut that’s been taking the dance music world by storm. A2 sees a wonky percussive tune from the wild minds of Italian duo Shampoo Douglas. The B side welcomes Aussie Red Embers legend Ewan Jansen with his timeless deep house hole in one titled ‘Scit Scat Return’. Pager boss Markus Sommer rounds off this release with a swinging work out tune that’s sure to stimulate.
