We continue our mixtape series with an artist and friend close to our Berlin circle, Born in 1986, co-founder of Concentric Records, a multi-disciplinary record label releasing ambient and experimental music. Through this mixtape he crafts a healing ethereal journey, reborn through overlapping waves of frequencies, soothing his heart and soul.

EON vs Zeitnot sees Adam Shelton and Jordan Carnall curating a must have four tracker for DJ’s, electro and techno heads.

Jayson Wynters is back on EON with a hard-hitting track titled – Tourettes. A fast paced work-out from Jayson using deep Detroit style chords and heavy drum programming that will stand up against any electro / techno record. Essential peak time business. Zobol returns to EON with his latest offering – Scapegoat. Classic Zobol style electro with a killer acid lead, this will be his first vinyl release for the label.

Zeitnot presents two brand new cuts from Body Hammer’s Scott Fraser. The B1, under his NB_BLOOD alias, is the banging, machine driven electro track Infrared; a frenetic ten minute dance floor workout with killer drum programming and swirling synths. On the B2, Moving errs towards deeper territory with cavernous bass perfectly suited to the warm up.

Up next, Marginal Returns is happy to finally unveil Gwenan’s debut EP. Already familiar to many via her DJ sets at various notable events over the past years - from festival main-stage techno to backroom boutique ambient - 2023 finally raises the curtain on Gwenan’s studio output. 
 
Activation Energy presents an elegant, particular and personable take on rhythmic electronic music, taking in A1’s downtempo, dub shrouded ‘Rhythm Delay’, the sneakily effective plucked lilt of A2 ‘Foundation’, the contemplative, emotive glide of B1 ‘Control Change’ and B2 ‘Attention Movement’s brooding syncopation.

Ludus Pinsky (Lapo Lombardi) and Alexander Robotnick (Maurizio Dami) are Italcimenti, a fuzz project seeking to re-construct the way to heavy-cement music, so sadly famous in the early 80s.
Thanks to their boldness and daring a new generation of survivors will have the chance again to listen to the sound that makes your legs feel as heavy as cement blocks.
