STROBCORE touches down on OTHERCIDE: INFERNO for the release of his 3 track DISTORTION OF REALITY EP, marking the second release on the OTHERCIDE RECORDS sublabel with his exceptional crossbreed sound. A producer backed by over 10 years of experience, STROBCORE has seen releases on a variety of labels such as Industrial Strength, Enzyme, Tainted Audio, and others. Through his specialized approach to production, STROBCORE imbues his tracks with a unique energy resultant of his combination of sonic textures from Hardcore, Drum & Bass, Techno, and Industrial. With DISTORTION OF REALITY he takes this methodology to its extreme, delivering a trio of tracks churning with the energy of his expertly guided sonic malstrom.

DISTORTION OF REALITY features a glitched and foreboding vocal hook which tumbles into a frantically powerful barrage of kickdrums, the hegemony of which is occasionally broken by the poignant strike of a stabbing metallic snare. By contrast to its predecessor, DON PABLO seems almost lethargic, but its lower tempo serves to impart an even greater weight on its brutal kickdrums as they resonate with destructive, bass fueled force. Amongst this onslaught warped & distorted synth screeches flit through the air, their presence infusing the track with sinister energy. The eclectic opening notes of GET THE FUNK hold a singularly whimsical attitude, one that persists as they are slowly transformed via distortion. Indeed, this same attitude is surprisingly carried even within the track’s distorted kicks and lead melody, which bounces with an eccentric spirit lifted from its jazzy opening.  With the DISTORTION OF REALITY EP, STROBCORE has indeed distorted sonic reality in his unification of a myriad palette of sonic influences, its 3 tracks guaranteed to make an inimitable impact on the dancefloor as a result.
