In today’s oversaturated market it is really challenging to build a label from scratch. We want to say a big thank you to all the great artists who are behind ZENEBONA RECORDS and of course also to you, and all to our fans. It wouldn’t be possible without you.

We are proudly announcing 'Alright, Come Close EP' which is also a message to all the talented producers out there to come and get in touch with us.
This is the debut of the Highway Records label boss and it is an absolute pleasure for us to have him. Mike Spirit is a unique guy in the scene, a musical pioneer with a charming personality. Mike doesn't want to be part of the herd, his sound is always unique. Both original tracks are super fine house tunes with some tricky sounds. Hard to put them in a category, but outstanding productions indeed.

The other big thing is that we are welcoming on board Soulfeed with an amazing, smooth deep melodic remix. Behind the curtains are Elad and Oren, two experienced guys from Israel who really knew what we needed here. Elad is also the label boss of Take Away Music.

The third remix is from Peter Makto who opened this label as a love project, to keep his passion for the deeper sounds alive. The usual groovy, ass shaking remix that he is well known for.

So here you have the spirits of Highway Records, Take Away Music & Truesounds Music all together on Zenebona Records. That’s why we love the music scene so much, because if we stick with the spirit of this simple rule: music is our connection – we can always do amazing things!

The cleverly placed percussions and echoing flutes will keep you captivated while the beat goes on relentlessly. Franca is appreciated around the globe for her energetic, creative and groove-driven DJ sets. Playing on the fringes of techno and house, she is as tight on the controls as she is playful in her storytelling. Her unique ability to feel the audience, space and time, carefully capturing and then guiding the energy of the dance  floor with focus and dedication, is one of her true trade- marks.
Her international education in her hometown Munich, the years a rhythm guitarist in band, as well 10 years of “strictly vinyl“ have influenced her sound just as much as her dance floor education in her 12 years of living in Cologne and the diversity of input in her new home Amsterdam.

The 44th Chapter in this story sees the release of JOBE’s My Regrets, featuring the haunting vocals of Haptic and a big Edition from label bosses VVerses.

As ever with JOBE, the EP is a powerful combination of darkness, melody and heft.

Title track My Regrets is true to form, built on a chunky, driving groove that opens into an expansive and euphoric vocal-led peak in which Haptic takes the lead, giving a performance that is typically haunting and emotional. The Dub Edition, meanwhile, offers a useful counterpoint that smooths out the highs of the original.

Up next, the VVerses Lessons Learned Edition is a blissful combination of new wave-influenced broken beat, delayed basslines and dripping acid. Haptic’s vocal, transformed into an impersonal and heavily vocodered robotic presence, holds the track together as it culminates into choppy ravey chords that channel a Balearic feel.

Final track Luma is an ominous afro tech roller, big dusty drums encasing a central arp that ups the ante and is bound to make the dancefloor bounce. Interweaving synths relentlessly build the tension to a crescendo.

Prototype's third EP is a genuine work from Ranieri Ferrari aka r4ne, one of the artists behind the label, presenting his first production as music producer after a long time dealing with logic.

Inspired by the sensation of breaking parameters, the opening track features luminous synths amid a creepy melody combined with percussive sounds until the droop, when everything turn off. With bass exploding, an alarm sounds and the synth resurfaces creating an hectic and devastating atmosphere worthy of a film production.

The Answer brings the enigma of binary numbers through the sound. With subtle touches and muffled bass, the track gradually reveals new combinations that seemed impossible. The long break with futuristic elements makes you question what is real and what is fiction in a space atmosphere. Treble pads and synthesizers are present from the beginning to the end and serve as a gateway for new elements to come and go.
