All three tracks make exceptional use of this theme, with a power,  subtlety and drama  you can liken to an ever-changing seashore. The energy shifts so boldly, with such great flow and ease , a truly riveting acoustic experience.

This compilation is a homage to the comet Coggia, which was sighted for the first time in 1874. The comet was so bright that it was possible to observe it with the naked eye and was named the Great Comet of 1874. Remembering LP carries influences from blues, downtempo, club music and others combined in one delicious hotpot, with all originals produced from the scratch by K2W0 during the peak of covid. The sensitive listener gets deep insights into the personal reflections and emotions that arose by at that time, translated into sonic languages with heartfelt lyrics and expressive beats.
K2W0 [K two] is a dreamer travelling across unknown yet familiar planes of existence. On his journey, the faceless wanderer encounters unique environments, cultures and beings. Each encounter tells a story of its own, which he expresses through his music. 'K2' is a mountain in Pakistan, which is also the second highest peak in the world. Originally from Pakistan and now living in the UK, K2W0 drew inspiration for his name from his roots.

Blind Navigation – this track takes me back to the start of covid and its peak, and for some reason it throws me back into my feelings from that uncertain time. As the name suggests, its about how the whole world was blindly navigating through life, albeit still.

After he was already represented on our last compilation and is also involved in some current remix projects with us, we are particularly pleased to be able to present Sydka's new EP on our label today, which has the catchy title "Snakes and Ladders".

The saying Snakes and Ladders refers to situations in which people or events appear to go forward and backward, seemingly at random. Everyone can relate to this feeling and knows that life can sometimes feel like an endless loop of recurring experiences. It is all the more important to switch off your head from time to time and simply go with the flow of the moment.

Sydka's EP provides the perfect soundtrack for this vibe. The two originals, which come with his unmistakably groovy and detailed sound, are rounded off by three diverse remixes by Glenn Shaw, Flave and Kon Faber, which all give the original a unique twist.

We are very happy that the EP has finally seen the light of day and want to thank all the artists involved for their great work, as well as Haunted Water for the smooth mastering and Kilian Van de Water for the harmonious artwork.

I have waited for years to finally release this remix. I wanted to wait for the perfect time and intention to set it free.
With the original artists being Australian, and in the aftermath of the recent fires down under, I felt this was the opportune time to not only release it but use it as a catalyst for helping the healing. So I am honored to announce that 100% of profits from this song will be donated to WIRES.

In the wake of the recent devastation in Australia WIRES Wildlife Rescue have been proven themselves to be really worthy of donating all the proceeds from this release.
Up until now they have been able to support 79 groups on the ground, providing funding to 51 licensed rescue groups or individually licensed carers across 6 states and territories, as well as 28 WIRES Branches across NSW, and every day there are more applications being received and processed.

So enjoy this music and the knowing that it is a part of helping humans come together, helping each other and nature.
