A Playlist with a draft selection of the compositions submitted by the participants composers of the Oticons Faculty competition of 2025 that have been voted for the TOP10! More compositions, revised - reworked & extended, will also be presented in the Oticons Faculty 2025 Soundtrack Album release.

NOTE: This year's "Envision the Notes" task was from the script of a film that falls under the Psychological Thriller and Supernatural Horror genres—two-in-one. “The Wastelands”, written by the Icelandic auteur Erlingur Thoroddsen is a film that operates in many ways like a haunted house story, except there are no ghosts and no houses. In this film, nature is haunted by a figure that Icelanders call “The Hidden Woman.” Not a spirit, yet not entirely human either, she exists in between. The chosen scene, regardless of what happens up to that point, sets the tone, and whatever follows can only be characterized as a gradual “all hell is about to break loose.” This was the composer’s moment to shine with something distinct and fitting that could become the foundation of the entire score.
