I first wrote SOULMATES as a child, before I had the language to explain what I felt: that my spirit was not bound by human limits. In those words, I realized I was both myself and another, "I am her, she is me". It was a poem of recognition, of eternal connection, of a truth that transcends flesh and time.

This year, I returned to that poem and recorded it as if it were playing through the static and warmth of a 1956 AM radio. The crackle, the mono tones, the ghostly distance, these textures carry the innocence of the child who wrote it, and the timelessness of the spirit who still speaks through it.

SOULMATES is not just a song. It is a transmission. A signal from the past, refracted through the present, reminding us that identity is fluid, eternal, and shared. It is a hymn to the self that is more than human, more than singular.
