This song is dedicated to a lovely lady who gave her younger years to working in the "Old Post Office" during WWII. Her Father was the "Boxer" and before I had a chance to play her the song that's written about her father, she passed away.

My latest EP is all about where I live and the local community. I moved to Ferndale with my family at the age of eight into an old post office in the town. 
It was once a sorting office for the town’s post and telegrams during WWII and a bank holding the miners’ wages. This became my inspiration for my new EP, “Post”. 
Centred around my home, “The Old Post Office”, I have invited members of my community to share with me moments, memories and feelings from their lives. 
Having once been the main source of communication for my town, I have re-opened the post office which has allowed me to connect on a deeper level to the people of my town and I hope to be able to share that with others.

This song is dedicated to Mary Shotten. She helped me massively with getting the letter responses and saw to it personally that they were sent back to myself. When it came to her own letter being sent in, it was an entire notebook detailing her experience of being a World War 2 evacuee from London.

This song is written about the local champion boxer "Taff Williams" who is my next door neighbors father. She sent in his obituary notice which had all of his achievements as an athlete and a boxer and that one piece of paper inspired the song.

The song is an apology letter to a friend, reminiscing upon some of the moments and words that were once shared between us. It opens up a conversation about what I could have done differently now that I'm looking back. I guess it's a song about growth, and taking stock of where I've been and where I'm going.

Otto (aka Christian Punter) is a solo artist from South Wales. Gaining the support of BBC Radio 1, 2 & Wales. Championed by Multi award winning producer & songwriter Dave Stewart, Mr. Stewart signed him to his label Bay Street Records and Otto worked with Dave on his Debut LP "Persona".
