Berlin’s Pure Hate drop their 5th release ‘Chrome Horse Diplomat EP’ by Mickey Nox. Having previously remixed MDD on PH003, this time he takes both sides of the record and delivers 4 heavy hitting original signature hammer tracks.

Mickey spawned out of the cracks of the Melbourne club scene in 2007. Which led to several residencies & festivals around Australia. In 2013 he launched his label & brand ‘Green Fetish Records’ which has since gone from strength to strength cementing its position in the Techno scene worldwide.

Outside of Australia & GFR he has played clubs such as Tresor, Moog, Basis, Jaded to name a few and has released music on labels such as Perc Trax, Mind Cut Music & South London Analog Material, having been remixed by the likes of Ansome, Ayarcana, Myler & Manni Dee along the way.

To create, one must sometimes let go of what is known, to go beyond what is safe to the creator. Crush the current state of mind and really start thinking out of the box, creating something that you might not be familiar with.

Crush & Create might sound like opposites but in this case, crush means making way for the new and exploring. Crush can break borders after which it's possible to create without anything holding you back or previous judgments influencing you. Creating what has not been done before is a key factor to the creative process, it encourages renewal. 

With this EP, ANDROM created 5 tracks that are without borders, taking influences from his youth when he listened to metal bands and the use of electric guitars in music, later also using these in his own productions. Furthermore taking inspiration from movie soundtracks and creating stories within his tracks that take the listener on a journey.

Over various genres and tempo ranges, ANDROM shows his production skills.

Trapped between flesh and technology, OTTOMAN GRÜW is the sulfurous technoid project of interdisciplinary artist Jean Grünewald. 
After being involved in Montreal underground music scenes for the last few years, Jean is now based in Brussels and operates the new platform/label MUTANT MODALITY (@mutantmodality).

Spread at the crossroads of industrial-minded electronics, OTTOMAN GRÜW’s identity combines a noise-infused dancefloor sound with post-punk adjacent experimentalism.
Through live performance to music production and dj sets, the artist delivers a cathartic blend of rhythmic equations - spanning the spheres of techno, ebm, electro and ambient.
This research for a boundary-pushing aesthetic brought him on stage with artists like Orphx, Unhuman, Reka or Animistic Beliefs.
