Leon of Athens may sound like Shakespeare, but this rising indie-pop star is writing his own heroic tale from Athens to London. Following the success of his debut UK album ‘Global’, Leon is now completing his new album with producer David Kosten (Bat for Lashes, Everything Everything), expected to be released in February 2018.

Microondas are a based in the unsanitary environment of the Athenian downtown.

They formed when childhood friends BetaMin and Panagiotis met after a long time.

They started listening to old, dusty tunes on a faulty tape deck and this is how it all started.

The band rehearses in a living room, with the neighbors’ (zero) tolerance. This is why Microondas call their sound “chamber rock and roll”.

Microondas love weird tunes and frequent visits to local hardware stores (where they get their malfunctioning equipment).
