Three nights, two gems and a bolt

Lisboa - one of the oldest european cities - holds many treasures. Architecture, food, laid back feeling, always ready to embrace those who visit it and showcasing the immense spectrum of sounds and music from the 4 corners of Earth. Alex SoulBrigada and Dedy Dread, as true archeologists of music, recently dug out a gem of a 45 in one of the many vinyl stores of the Portuguese capital and meticuluosly sampled and chopped the tune into a soulful and sunny - just like Lisbon - hip hop tune. This is their first collaboration and in order to celebrate this, they are giving it away - FOR FREE! All MC´s, DJ´s and producers are invited to download the track and break it down which ever way they please - and please let Alex and Dedy see the end result!

My last mix for 2016 giving an idea of what I have been listening to in the last months. This has been a year for me wherein oriental influences have had a great effect on both my track collection and my recordings. 

I want to thank all artists and people who have been listening to my music. I hope you enjoyed it just as much as I do.

Within a very short time, she has put herself on the map as an up and coming DJ. 

Niki conveys her expression of life to listeners and engages crowds through her live sets when she’s behind the decks , and through dozens of podcasts and studio mixes. Her sets have been described as musical journeys, charming listeners and at the same time inviting them to dive into their own individual world of sensations. 

Niki is the host of Allure on Frisky Radio which airs every 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan's label Ouïe proudly presents the original film score and soundtrack album for the new German moive 'Es war einmal Indianerland' which translates into 'Once upon a time in Indian Country’ which is centered around brand new songs by Acid Pauli.
A 17-year-old boy is at the odds with himself and the world. Pretty normal. But the coming-of-age-story “Es war einmal Indianerland” is not normal: it’s exceptional. Thrilling. Imaginative. The narration is virtousic, just as the attendant nominated novel by Nils Mohl who also wrote the screenplay – in collaboration with Max Reinhold. A psychedelic city-western ! Charged with pictures full of symbolism that are composed into a hypnotic whirl by Ilker Çatak – who won the Max-Ophüls price and who has been distinguished with the student Oscar for « Sadakat ». Another highlight : the outstanding cast. Newcomer Leonard Scheicher (« Quellen des Lebens ») as protagonist Mauser in between Jackie played by Emilia Schüle (« Ku’damm ’56, « Jugend ohne Gott »), and Edda played by Johanna Polley (« Mumbai »). In additional roles there’s Clemens Schick (« James Bond 007 – Casino Royale », « 4 Könige ») as Mausers father, and Joel Basman (« Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter ») as Mausers pal Kondor.

Aztec cosmovision was reflected in the layout of the gardens regardless of their size. The largest gardens were built around ritual places such as mountains, springs and caves, while there were small gardens built beside the palaces of the nobility that held also a wide variety of flora, fauna and pools. 

Gardens were not only for the enjoyment of the Emperor and royal nobles, but were also multi-purpose botanical gardens associated with the curing of physical and spiritual ills as they also kept a wide array of ornamental, aromatic and medicinal plants. The pools were filled with spring water that came from sophisticated aqueducts and contained several types of fish and waterfowl. There were royal gardens in and near Tenochtitlan, Chapultepec, Iztapalapa, el Peñón and Tetzcoco, as well as in more distant locations such as Tetzcotzinco and Huaxtepec.
