Ouïe Circle is home to the wider circle of friends and family around Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan’s Ouïe label, and is the perfect home for Chambord’s enchanting, hypnotic sounds. 

Orvil is a delight - over seven minutes of shuffling groove, deep flourishes and a stunning, transportative female vocal with hints of north African / middle Eastern melodies. 

Extend The Night could be seen as the after dark flip of Orvil - things get a little more intense, driving and locked in. The groove is tighter and yet there's an open, expressive feel to the track with an audacious section where the track almost disappears into the ether, before coming back to earth with a bump. 

Also included here is the vocal mix of Extend The Night which adds a tripped out vocal to proceedings, pushing the vibe deeper into the late night zone.

Acid Pauli’s foray into the world of modular synthesis in his music making resulted in one of last year's most intriguing albums - MOD. His third full-length released on his own Ouïe label, Martin Gretschmann’s modular systems allowed him to traverse new territories in his creative process. A year later, we are treated to four new interpretations of some of the album’s highlights via friends and family from the Berlin underground. 

JakoJako is a techno artist who primarily per- forms live and uses modular synthesis extensi- vely in her music. Her rework of Quantize Hell takes the original into even further directions - an intricate, organic, exploration of modular interplay. 

Hamburg based DJ and producer Nutia, shares a wonderful reinterpretation of Intellijel Bell - a heavy slo-mo vibe that connects airy sounds and a thick bottom end. 

No Kick, No Cry is overhauled by Frankfurt- based artist Daniel 'Flug 8' Herrmann, who delivers a textured, dreamy soundscape to lose yourself in. 

Bar 25 legend Pilocka Krach is responsible for the remix of Sublime Frequencies of Cairo - her trippy, heavy rework is a real treat for those who like their sounds pitched down and psychedelic.

We are happy to announce that Jean Caillou graces us with his second EP on Bunte Kuh. The EP is called "Signs" and presents itself with five original tracks and a remix by @naehrwerk.

The first track bears the same name as the EP itself. 'Signs' is a light and airy entrance track. It is followed by 'Balbek', which ties in with the lightness and takes you away into a wonderful world of sound.'Dogu' has something drivingly hypnotic and spoils the heart with a grandiose build-up. The remix version by Nährwerk picks up on this vibe and brings movement to it all. 'Torus' seduces with clear sounds and gloomy bass. The conclusion is 'Broken': with light sounds it transports you into a warm, euphoric dream world in which you want to stay forever.

After two decades of redefining electronic music with unconventional and psychedelic club sounds, German DJ and producer Acid Pauli needs no introduction. His third album MOD arrived in September 2020 as a remarkable tribute to the modular synthesizer, the most trusted tool in Acid Pauli aka Martin Gretschmann's arsenal. He created the record almost entirely with modular systems, reveling in the possibilities and stretching the limits of machines that sing to themselves. 

The first part of MOD Remixes saw innovative reinterpretations by Pilocka Krach, JakoJako and other notable names from the Berlin underground. Now on the second part, Acid Pauli's collaborators bring expertise from all over Europe and beyond, resulting in a magnificent international collection.

Well reputed DJ Tennis and Roderic approach "No Kick, No Cry" from completely different directions. The former accentuates the prominent kick drum and adds new layers to the track, making it a true earworm, while Roderic keeps it more low-key, carefully coating the already immersive and ASMR-like soundscape in nuanced texture. 

"Du Brecht, Ich Dub" undergoes a complete makeover by German producer, DJ and vocalist Perel. With two extra minutes and a bright newfound energy, her version plays like a soundtrack for an aerial footage of a neon-lit city. Needless to say, it is an irresistible dancefloor-filler. 

Slovakia-born and London-based artist Lenka Toma adds a warm touch to "Life Polarizer". United by the consuming groove, Acid Pauli's chirping and bubbling soundbites come alive with Toma's techno backdrop.

"Sublime Frequencies Of Cairo" becomes subject to quite a metamorphosis, too. What was already an album highlight is elevated further by Jonathan Kaspar, resident of Cologne's nightlife hotspot Gewölbe. His beat pulsates throughout the initially beatless track and masterfully connects the dots between Acid Pauli's floating loops, eventually finding its way to the foreground.

On its remixed version, MOD reemerges as an entirely new record, basking in all these diverse influences while firmly retaining the trailblazing lifeforce of its creator.

Exciting new Brooklyn artist CISUMMI steps up to Kindisch with a fresh remix of a Chambord original from October 2020. 

CISUMMI is an Afro house DJ and producer based in Brooklyn. His multicultural childhood saw him grow up between France, Spain and his native Benin. That has led to a vibrant mix of influences that celebrate his African roots, a love of Latin culture and global travel. Here he remixes the Paris-based Chambord duo. Their original 'Wonderland' embodied their melodious sound which is influenced by world music but with electronic and hypnotic atmospheres. 

CISUMMI flips ‘Wonderland’ into a gloriously warm and fulsome house groove. The drums are deep, the melodies harmonic and the percussion sprinkled over the top brings a real lightness to the groove as the intimate vocals add tenderness. Rich marimba and piano sounds bring another layer of musicality and the subtle nature of the whole track means it really hits on a powerful emotional level and leaves a lasting impression. 

This is a wonderful reinterpretation that introduces CISUMMI's fresh sound to the world in style.

"Kunda" is a swirling and evocative deep-tech track from monotropa. Inspired by a festival in the Costa Rican jungle and conceived during the flight home, "Kunda" honors a life-changing experience and the awakening of a spiritual force hidden within. The remix from Seattle electronic music mainstay Joe Bellingham creates a contemplative downtempo vibe from the original track. During this festival experience, monotropa. was approached by a woman offering a Kundalini awakening meditation. The meditation involved sporadic shaking, dancing to music, and both sitting and lying meditations, all while blindfolded. At first, there was fear of judgment for being seen doing such a thing, but after connecting with a deeper self, these fears washed away and all were left in a blissful state of unhindered expression.

Nico Stojan set up Ouie with his friend and longtime collaborator Acid Pauli as a conduit for the unique and wonderful music they and their friends have become synonymous with. This latest release reaffirms the magical quality the label has cultivated, this time in the form of a teamwork between Nico and David Mayer. 

'Fling' kicks off powerfully - a shuffling, organic groove leads the way before synth pads, jazzy piano riffs and a big breakdown amp up the atmosphere. 

'Safari' employs a similarly swung, live feel to the groove, before dropping in a breakbeat to take things to the next level. The track builds tension as synths are layered and layered, resulting in a mystical leftfield bomb.

'Kalamanka' is a taut, atmospheric slice of late night voodoo, built around live percussion and understated synths.

Zurich based King Ben is the pure opposite of a late bloomer – namely an early starter. After watching a DJ play live for the first time at the age of twelve Ben was hooked and invested all the money he had saved in a DJ system. 

Quickly he developed a unique groove, performed his first gig at the legendary Sputnik Radio and became Switzerlands’s youngest DJ. 

His organic, melodic and yet very reduced sound probably reflects his personality with diverse cultural, creative and musical influences, such as jazz, hiphop or pop. 

In his studio, the sound tinkerer gets lost in time and experiments for days or weeks on a new track. 

Now his efforts are about to pay off: Say hello to King Ben’s first release on Ouïe Circle – the Miracle EP.

Title track Miracle was inspired by certain samples and beats from Ouïe co-labelhead Acid Pauli. The groovy house track filled with uplifting chords and a stirring xylophone sounds builds to an energetic climax, before fading into a soft outro. 
„Reduction and groove was very important for me in this track“ says King Ben. 

The second track is Tschaggas and retouched by Acid Pauli himself. It’s named after the nickname Ben's two daughters gave him and is an emotional journey through ambient soundscapes. With deeply layered synths and sparse drums the track is an emotional exploration of the certain hustle and calmness that reflects daily life with his children.
