You are not to Walk this Life alone.  You are not to be powerless.  It begins with your desire to obey.  Clean out your "house" and walk in the Spirit.
Jesus in Luke 4 went into the wilderness with the Holy Spirit.  He was tempted by Satan...did not give in to the temptations...and came out of the wilderness in the Power of the Holy Spirit and entered His ministry.
What you are searching for is found in the path of Obediece.  Get into the Word and learn who Your Messiah is.  Study the Standards of the Kingdom.
