If something fascinates me, and captures my attention away from serving God at that moment, it holds more power in my life than the word of God does. It means what God told me in the Gospel is not enough for me. (talking about UFOs/strange lights.)
“What is in your life that is outweighing the words of God?” If your ego? pride? fear?
The younger generation is being lost to supernatural programming on TV. They think it’s awesome.
Mike sees a lack of governance and oversight in what the young people are seeing – parents are absent.
If you pray for something and you are the benefactor or you would look better before men – you are praying in error.
This is what people teach people: ‘what you do matters, what’s in your heart doesn’t matter.’
When people speak well of you it means your message is catered to your audience and not to the truth.
Be yourself. You are purposely made the way you are. You are already somebody – you don’t have to be somebody else.
Walk in truth, because you love the Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Conform to the nature you are predestined to become – don’t be a rebel. Pleasing others should be none of your concern.
You can prepare for an event but not be ready. Mike’s finger froze on the trigger when first in combat, despite much preparation. Why? because when preparing, you don’t believe you’ll actually be in that circumstance, so you do not mentally prepare and rehearse. Consider it seriously – if you prepare in small things, seriously, you are prepared. Do not fail to do what Jesus told you to do in the small things.
Kids should respect their parents: “yes, sir.” “yes, ma’am.”
Weird Wednesday topics – weather, leaves, insects, animals, other planets. Ice, methane, ancient pestilences awaking as ice melts.
Mike thinks dust is collecting in atmospheres of the planets, heating them up, acting like a blanket, keeping radiation in.
Discussion of the disciples’ three questions – Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
“in order for you to choose honestly between good and evil, both must be present.”
How can you fear evil when it’s there to grow you, to give you a choice. All things are going to work for your benefit, including evil.
Discussion on principalities.
“Every day I’ve got to know that what I’m doing is advancing somebody’s life concerning our Lord Jesus Christ.”
The best blessing is peace of heart – not peace of mind – peace of heart.

This archive has tons of meat!  The Pharisees chose to maintain all authority and power of the Law and not hear the words of Jesus.  They wished to rule over men and could not hear Jesus.  Looking into our own lives we are to die to these traits in us and be emptied out of ourselves that we seek to be filled with Jesus and follow his ways , no longer seeking to satisfying our selfish desires.
