Wayne and I first met in 1995, when The Flaming Lips and I were both opening up for a Red Hot Chili Peppers’ European tour. We became friends, shared a dressing room and the same bad craft services, and watched the Chili Peppers from the side of the stage. This an exclusive edit Goldcap & I made the week before Burning Man. We wanted to have at least one new exclusive tune to play on the Playa for our b2b sets. We debuted this tune on Wednesday morning for our sunrise set at Kazbah, which was probably my favorite gig all week. All DJ sets out there are amazing, but this one was special simply because we started with a dance floor of 15 people at 6am, and ended with about 500 friends 4 hours later. The weather was perfect and from the pic you can see the vibes and smiles were flowing. Feel free to share and play this track in your sets, as one last Playa gift from Goldcap and I to you!! <3
