This week's frequency comes from Enzo Muro! 
He is one of LA’s unsung Heroes. He selflessly supports his community of music freaks on a continuous basis with unwavering genuineness.
Having recently joined the zealous Electronic Groove team based out of Miami, Enzo has connected a strong link between the U.S. bicoastal network. 
The amount of music that Enzo has been exposed to, on his radio show or out and about at every show in LA, gives him a broad and tasteful style of music when he djs. Recent notable dj gigs for Enzo include Lightning in a Bottle and Desert Hearts, two hugely popular campout festivals in California; and at Avalon opening for Nick Warren and Guy J. Enzo is also a regular jock at The Standard rooftop in downtown Los Angeles; a rotating resident at Clinic, a weekly Wednesday night dance party in Hollywood; and a fixture at Pattern Bar, a popular dimly lit cocktail lounge in DTL. So, Enzo is busy a dj and on the up-and-up.

This week we welcome Enzo Muro who currently calls LA home and is part of the Electronic Groove team and heading up their LA influence and live sessions. Electronic music's ability to connect people globally, uplift and remove perceived boundaries is what drives us so we're really excited to be collaborating locally and internationally with artists that inspire us and align with this message of community. One of our favourite Sydney artists amháin [ https://soundcloud.com/let-the-people-dance/let-the-people-dance-007-amhain ] who has featured on LA's EG Live sessions thanks to Enzo introduced us and we are now lucky enough to have Enzo Muro in our series and part of the Let The People Dance community. A regular follower of both Electronic Groove and Enzo personally we're really excited to share this with you.

More on Enzo Muro: His first taste of electronic music began during the late 90's back in Peru. As an avid partygoer and music enthusiast, Enzo had the privilege to see many of the greats, including Steve Lawler, Peace Division, Carl Cox, Sasha, Pete Tong, Adam Freeland, Deep Dish, Hernan Cattaneo, etc... spinning their hearts out in Lima. Good sets and good times instilled in him the passion to play music of his own.

Now in LA he's the California liaison for Bamboocha Radio out of Lima, Peru and also now joined the zealous Electronic Groove team based out of Miami, Enzo has connected a strong link between the U.S. bicoastal network taking charge of their L.A. presence. Currently he curates Electronic Groove's LA Underground Sessions, a weekly live streaming platform which highlights local and underground talent from the city of Angels. It’s the perfect match for both parties. Equity is a beautiful thing.

The amount of music that Enzo has been exposed to, on his radio show, live streaming or out and about at every show in LA, gives him a broad and tasteful style of music when he djs. One has to step out of the box to acquire such a taste in music. Enzo has played at Lightning in a Bottle and Desert Hearts, two hugely popular campout festivals in California, also played at Burning Man a few years; and has opened for djs such as Hernan Cattaneo, Rampue, Chymera, Soul Button, Behrouz, Nick Warren, Daniel Bortz, Guy J, to name a few. Enzo is also a regular jock at The Standard rooftop in downtown Los Angeles; a rotating resident at Clinic & La Vibe, a weekly nights dance party in Hollywood; and a fixture at Pattern Bar, a popular dimly lit cocktail lounge in DTLA where now throws a monthly party with Electronic Groove called B.LØW.

When creating an exclusive new track for his <i>DJ-Kicks</i> mix, Maceo Plex decided to deviate slightly from his comfort zone. “I’m kind of known for a couple of big disco records and some really deep bassline house tracks," he says. "This track is much darker, but still pretty sexy and soulful. The whole thing is dark and futuristic.” Maceo's new track "Galactic Cinema" anchors his mix, which is available April 30th on !K7.

A two track EP featuring both new Maceo Plex tracks from <i>DJ-Kicks</i> ("Galactic Cinema" and "Mind On Fire") will be available on Beatport on April 15th.
