My opening prayer

We stand here
In a desire to connect to a resonance that can only be felt, not seen
Our feet firmly planted on a floor made from the roots of this earth
We connect to the elements that holds us in our dance
And we stand softly
And breathe in deeply 
We are stewards of many lands
May we not forget
Here we live amongst the valleys
And rivers
Where the hummingbirds sing
And may we remember to always listen
And slow down
May we watch ourselves go inward
As we are offered prayers from the spaces we visit
Let our guides and guardians 
Whisper softly into our ears
The songs and growls of nearby life 
May we be touched by the larger ecosystem in which we are a part of


May we leaves thing behind better than we find them

We we love ourselves
And may we love one another
May our love stories begin within
May we be truth seekers
And truth speakers
May we heal 
As we pray
And bow in reverence to the movement that is our dance

May we remember our voices

This set is a bit flirty, a bit dirty, a bit dark, a bit bright eyed, a bit of all of it.

Not the best of mixable transitions as this was a set done on the fly and I threw together as the crowd vibed, still had a hell of a time and it was wildly loud enough for no one to hear the bloopers.

A Sunday Ecstatic with the Ecstatic Dance Uk Crew. What an incredible morning of energy. Following the Embody Festival night we had before, this Sunday we started slow and steady before moving into the depths.

Dedication to dear brother Kobe on this special day who did not make it to the dance, but was with us in our hearts on the dance floor. He was walking his way out of Japanese backcountry to return back to the world. So grateful for his will power to make it back. In all moments of my life sound and music have guided me into the deepest aspects and realms of self expression, initiation, purification and alchemy. 

Sound and silence are deep medicines. My sets are quite worldly and haunting. They are tailored towards the emotions that surface on the dance floor. Each dance is a collaborative weaving of all that are present in the space, and the journeys all quite differ from one another. 

My path with sound and music has been one of personal growth, community, integration and dancing with the shadow. Within my sets you will get glimpses and doses of Latin funk, throbbing bass, 4 on the floor, ambient strings, tribal drum, melodic and classical compositions, conscious floetry, binaural beats and haunting sounds of ancestors and tribe unknown. 

Through dance we have an opportunity to discover, unleash, and enhance our individual potential to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. By engaging our senses and listening to our bodies, we connect to others from our hearts more than our minds and together we shape a consciousness that extends beyond our own bodies. 

The invitation is to treat these spaces as more than dances, and to allow yourself to expand beyond your perceived notion of who and what it is that you believe yourself to be.
