Atomic drop (AD) is the combined creative force of James Anthony and Ken Barrett . Together they sonically sculpt deep, rolling and filthy Electro House that fuses all the best elements of dance. Coming from the sound and scene of the UKs capitol and South East their sound is next level electronic dance music for 21st century party people…. accessible to dance floors the world over.&#13;

The fresh sounds of Atomic Drop have seen the band share the stage with artists as diverse as Underworld, Faithless, Tinnie Tempah, Booka Shade, Sub Focus and Myles Dyson and play, at arguably some of the best events, festivals and productions the world over. AD proudly headlined the Main Stage and Arcadia Stage at the UK’s number 1 dance event – The Glade Festival and the world famous Glastonbury Festival.... Not to mention rocking it at this years ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event).&#13;

AD are currently signed to BigFish recordings and Bazooka records and are permanently busy working on their new club cuts for releases on labels like Burn the Fire, Sufer Rosa and LOT49 throughout 2012.

Our Friends Eclectic is a celebration of all things good in the dance music world. Be it House, Techno, full on Electro, Dubstep, Berlin Minimal, DnB, chunky Breakbeat or even Italo-Disco we love all forms of underground dance music and aim to bring you regular manchester raves that demonstrate our love for those sounds...


We're a houseparty in a club and we ask our renowned DJ's to play LITERALLY whatever they want. This is a chance for them to perhaps try something new... and play a set they might not get to play in other clubs where the crowd are expecting 'a certain sound'....


We hate the big club mentality of booking the same big names, charging £15 entry, ramming the club past capacity and then taxing you £6 a drink. If you're tired of this bullshit too, come check us out and support the real underground Manchester scene.


We will be hosting a series of random parties, events and back rooms around the city over the coming months so keep an eye out for us... :)

Selected gigs played in Berlin, Barcelona, Paris, Beirut, Tuscany, Zurich, Rennes a.m.m.

Resistance has been DJing for around 4 years, after discovering club night Tangled and buying a pair of old second hand Technics 1210 decks he began his quest to play bass bombs to the masses. After Tangled finished he started club night Carry On with Steve Thorpe (Tangled Breaks) and played every month along side artists such as Krafty Kuts, Elite Force, Rennie Pilgrem, Rico tubbs and The Soul of Man to name a few.

Now serving as Co-Owner, resident DJ and promotor at his Breakspoll Award Winning (best small club/event) clubnight Lowdown & Dirty with Steve Thorpe, Ash Howell and Mark Mciver, playing alongside people such as Hybrid (Live) Scratch Perverts, Freestylers, Plump DJs, Stanton Warriors, Meat Katie & more, expect to hear a full flavour and his own edits and remixes of bass heavy electronic music whether it be Techno-Electro-Breabeat-House or anything else that takes his fancy. Having played in the U&A Recordings bigtop at Wickerman festival and being involved with the label and also spinning at the U&A Boat Party afterparty with Peo De Pitte, Mike Hulme, Zodiac Cartel & the Loops of Fury, and on the Blow dance stage at the Kendal Calling festival, Parklife Festival, Eurocultured Festival,  as well as currently studying a full time music producer course, Resistance continues to develop his sound and put on huge parties in the UK.
