Founder of Quake event series in Omaha and Harvest HiFi Soundsystem, Snake Blood kicks off the mix with a grip of original material before exploring the sonic landscape of the dubstep genre via some of the hottest names in the game! Sublimix #117 is a hot one! 

"I had a lot of fun with this mix! There’s plenty of original work, remixes and collabs with some of the homies, and some of the flavors in dubstep and 140 that first really pulled me to this type of sound. Hot 808 heavy beats, slurky wobs, higher energy techy tracks, spacey dubs and tribal basslines take this mix on a sonic buffet of the palates in this genre I like the most."

B Side Los Angeles Eyes Down Set

‘Kwizma” is the alias and brainchild of Netherlands-based Christian Engelen. 

His rumbling bass and cutting edge sound design have captivated the creative minds of people from every corner of the globe. He has worked alongside widely acclaimed world-touring DJ’s such as Truth, N-Type, and Nomine (to name a few), as well as provided music for Indy video game developers, content creators, and dancers. 

He now has releases on renowned imprints such as Deep, Dark & Dangerous,  UK’s iconic ’FatKidOnFire,’ and Texas’ home grown ‘Silent Motion Records.’ With interviews and coverage from LA’s ‘Bassrush’ and San Diego-based clothing label ‘Dataset’, it’s no wonder he’s peaked the interest of so many. His next release will be on his very own record label ‘Kuro Records’, with which he holds the title of Founder together with two other legends in the scene, Leon Switch and Kelly Dean. Both of which have joined him in creating a powerful trio known as NōTaN.
