Sick And Twisted

I wanted to create a different kind of track. Something that had a different feel and vibe than my usual dark and brooding sound. I decided to learn to play a few piano chords and this whole track came together organically from those 4 chords. My vocal tone isn't quite back to normal yet but I'm personally diggin it on this track. As usual all lyrics, vocals, music and production all done by this guy. I hope you feel it and enjoy.

'Children Of Memory' is the latest in Adrian Tchaikovsky's Sci Fi masterpiece.
Earth has failed and the last vestiges of humanity escape the planet to follow in the wake of previous attempts to colonise planets elsewhere in the galaxy. I've tried to fuse melancholy with hope and the passage of vast amounts of time in a spacehip! 

The main guitar is a Duesenberg Paloma put through a modern amp, an octave fuzz pedal and a trichorus modulator. 

The artwork is from Antarik Fox, Pinterest.

I was a high-schooler, not yet able (if at all) to write decent lyrics. So I resorted to more or less famous poems, but also to short stories from which I cut out fragments and stitched them together. Under my scalpel also fell 'Superfluous Invitations', a short story by Dino Buzzati published in 1958 in 'Sixty Short Stories'. There is a version that I recovered from a 1977 tape , but I had the desire to replay and rearrange it a few time ago.
