The fourteenth podcast. The first artist on the 2025 gathering lineup. When the idea for this podcast was first developed, showcasing Sardinian DJ's was always something we wanted to accomplish. There is a natural harmony between the environment here and this style of music. It is something that is difficult to articulate. The ambience lends itself to the hypnotic, organic, profound tones. The landscape mirrors the sheer, rugged, illusive elements of deep techno. The lapping sea emulates the constant, unerring yet unpredictable facets. 

One artist who in our minds captures the very essence of all of this; with consistently top quality releases, classy mixes and a genuine, friendly and approachable character, is Save Your Atoll, who we are thrilled to welcome to the Out Of Focus Podcast. 

We are also overjoyed to announce @SaveYourAtollofficial as the first name on our lineup for Out Of Focus Gathering 2025, an event that grants the opportunity to come and witness the harmony between this place and this music.

Today's mix is grounded in pace and energy. Rhythmic elements intertwine to invoke an unyielding urge to move. Ever present is the push and pull, the tension and release, poised expertly to give the listener relief at the exact moment you need it. Out Of Focus 014 - Save Your Atoll

The fifteenth. The next artist on the 2025 gathering lineup. Audio Cla, a DJ and producer based here in Sardinia, presents a mix to hypnotize and mesmerize from the very first moments until the last fading frequencies. Relentless in it's energy, a true torrent that keeps us locked in and listening, enraptured in Audio Cla's selections. Peaks and troughs take us through diverse shades of spellbinding sound, keeping the mind reeling and the feet firmly *off* the ground. 

We're also very excited to welcome Audio Cla to the 2025 edition of the Out Of Focus gathering and for him to share his vision with us and the mountainous Taccu of Osini in September. On the 27th of September we invite you all to this gathering celebrating a fusion of sound and nature, where both Sardinian and international sonic artists will share their unique perceptions of this place.

A mix both diverse and wandering, we depart with bouncy, organic infused electronica, lighter textures slowly intensifying as the palette develops. The middle of mix finds its stride in some deeper, darker, resonant tracks. Rolling and revolving, the senses blur as the cycle grips our auditory senses. Finally, the listener is pulled back out of the hypnotic haze, stronger sounds of storytelling return to the forefront to reassert the groove, with haunting vocals and strings bidding the listener a final farewell.

ENTHUSE grew up surrounded by music from an early age, starting with dance, piano, and drums. In her teenage years, ENTHUSE began dancing in the United States, later immersing herself in club culture and street dance in the Philippines and Canada.

In her early twenties, she returned to her home country of Japan and began her career as a DJ. Drawing from her background in hip-hop and house dance, ENTHUSE developed a distinctive sense of groove and a fast-paced, high-energy playing style.

In recent years, she has primarily focused on techno, actively working as a producer as well. In 2023, she gained attention both domestically and internationally by providing a techno track for the Milan Collection. In 2025, she released an EP on LETS TECHNO records. 

Under the name Yuri Nagahori, she explores a broader musical range, focusing on hip-hop, house, and disco, showcasing her unique musical style across various genres.

幼少期から音楽に囲まれて育ち、ダンス、ピアノ、ドラムを始める。
10 代の頃にアメリカでダンスを始め、その後フィリピンやカナダでクラブ文化やストリートダンスに没頭した。

20 代前半には母国日本に戻り、DJ としての活動を開始する。 ヒップホップやハウスダンスの経験から培われたグルーブ感と、スピーディーで疾走感のあるプレイスタイルを得意とする。

近年は主にテクノをプレイし、プロデューサーとしても積極的に活動中。 2023 年にはミラノコレクションでテクノ楽曲を提供するなど、国内外で注目を集めている。 2025 年には LETS TECHNO records から EP をリリース。 

また、Yuri Nagahori 名義ではヒップホップ、ハウス、ディスコといったブラックミュージックを中心に活動し、幅広いジャンルで独自の音楽性を発揮している。

Fleika grew up during the heyday of Prague’s rave culture, coming of age as a DJ in booths built for a single night only. The Czech techno renaissance shaped him, and the newly born club culture soon embraced him as one of its main protagonists.

Industrial ruins and modernist landmarks marked Fleika’s journey through the blooming nightlife, imbuing his craft with intuition and technical precision. His sets humbly showcase his ability to hijack the mind of a listener. He prefers a quiet dancefloor - no cheers, no chants - just a stomping crowd, locked in their own heads.

As an Ankali resident, he digs anything that kicks, melts, or makes the mind trip, but he thrives most when diving into the vast depths of hypnotic and psychedelic techno - as deep as it gets.

DJ Bowlcut, who describes himself as a "DATA JOCKEY" playing all the musical data that exists in the world, has been an influential figure in the Korean electronic music scene. As a DJ and producer shaping the foundation of the local club scene, he has been actively involved in various projects. His track selection, imbued with meaning in every choice, has the power to bring energy to different times and spaces. Rooted in minimal house, leftfield sounds, and Dub Techno, his genre-blurring selections are enhanced by his unique mixing style, shaped by his background as a turntablist, delivering an unforgettable experience to listeners.

Currently, he also runs Seoul Community Radio, contributing to the growth of the scene while building networks that connect various venues, collectives, and brands across Korea and the world. His exposure to diverse music and ideas naturally extends into his production work, with vinyl releases on labels such as Unknown To The Unknown, 777 Recordings, and Phutureshock Records, as well as digital releases on Gestalt Records and Maai Records.

Recently, he launched the "Principauté de Bowl-Air" label, dedicated to minimal house and techno, where he releases both digital and vinyl records. By integrating modular synthesizers, vinyl, forgotten hardware techniques, and the latest AI and computer technologies to make Korean Pop and Indie, Rap sound to Deep Minimal House and Dubby.

This is the set I recorded at Omg Events in Oslo, where I was invited to play on September 20th, a special day as it also marked the release of my LP on Soria Records.
I don’t usually record my sets, in fact, this is the first time I’ve ever done it, so I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did playing it for that amazing crowd!

The eighteenth. This weeks entry coming from the talented @nemsb, who's crafted a genre-warping one and half hour journey through their vision of sonic space.

This twisting, morphing mix leads the us gently into an array of diverse soundscapes; each track presenting a unique motif, a new surprise around each corner rounded. Vocals pieces are dispersed elegantly throughout, never overpowering, instead deepening the palette of the mix, outlining the established vision with dashes of strong defining color.

After riding the line somewhere between dub and deep techno, with moments of detroit infused energy throughout the mix, the final tracks deliver some darker textures as we feel like the lights darken and we become fully immersed, lost in the finished canvas.

"natural/electronic.system. are Antonio Giova and Valerio Gomez de Ayala, a dj/producer duo from Naples, Italy. Both inspired by electronic music since the end of the ’90s, they were later influenced by the florid Neapolitan house/techno scene and inspired by the foreign djs coming to perform in Naples clubs. Over the years they became keen on the old and modern sound coming from another Italian city, Rome, where they started connections with local musicians such as Donato Dozzy, Neel and others."
