Lost dreaming on a railing

The eagle came and took me to her nest. 
My prayers were fulfilled.
Soft were her wings,
and uncanny was the wind. 

The earthquake did not matter in the sky, 
tiny houses shattered in forgotten dreams. 

Canyons beneath my sight 
dripping.

Captured snakes
leftover without skin
dripping

My new home was the nest
on top of the tallest tree.

My new mates were eaglets,
Who knew more than me.

My sight never grew sharper,
My hands never became wings.
yet horizon slipped farther.

yet i got closer the moon,
yet the sun got closer to me.

The eagle came and took me to her nest.
