This week, Shinedoe from Amsterdam takes time out of her busy schedule to guest on our Source to Cycle podcast.

The lady behind the Intacto Records label, Shinedoe launched her production career back in 2004, releasing on the influential Dutch label100% Pure.   In that same year, she launched Intacto, an imprint that has since gone on to great things, releasing music from the likes of Innersphere, 2000 And One, Glimpse, D’Julz, Lee Van Dowski and of course her own productions.  

Shinedoe has also released two full length albums over the years, and continues to DJ around the world on a weekly basis, so let’s catch up with the sounds of Shindoe on this week’s Source to Cycle….

Timo has been a dominant figure on the electronic scene for many years now.  Hailing from the small town of Buckeburg in Germany, Timo was DJing in the local clubs and in nearby Hannover from the age of 15. As rave culture took off in Germany, Timo latched on to this new musical revolution, DJing not only in his native Germany but also around Europe.  Productions followed, and by the end of the 1990s, Timo was a cranking out releases and big remixes for artists like Azzido Da Bass, Green Velvet, Depeche Mode, Fatboy Slim and many more.

A resident DJ at Ibiza’s DC10 for over ten years, and a DJ schedule that covers the world, Timo is currently busy with his label Rockets & Ponies, a newly released mix album on the My Favourite Robot label, and plenty of DJ dates…

Our special guest on this week’s show is Andrew Grant, a DJ and producer originally from Washington DC, and who has become well known for his amazing sets at Ibiza’s legendary DC10.

Moving to Europe after his university graduation back ion the States, and with a passion for DJing and electronic sounds, Andrew was invited to play DC10 by Cirillo, and was soon established as the clubs first American resident of Circo Loco.

Music productions followed, with releases for Plastic City, Unfoundsound, Little Helpers and My Favourite Robot, amongst others,  and he has collaborated with the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Tale Of Us and Los Updates.

With a busy Summer schedule now behind him, Andrew jets back to the States very soon for gigs in New York, Texas and his home city of Washington DC where he is throwing a party for his own label venture, EDEC Music.

Now is the time for Aitor Etxebarria, better known as El_Txef_A to expose his innermost feelings, as he's already begun to on releases from labels like Hypercolour, Suol and Wazi Wazi. This time, he is undoubtedly on his best of form.
Aitor, born and raised in the Basque Country, is in that group of artists sparingly measuring their output, always searching for the new, aiming for high quality instead of constant, monotonous releases. After years of dedicated work, El_Txef_A announces his debut album "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room". El_Txef_A stands for a specific and complex sound signature. His primary concern to develop a sound that people can identify with as well as just simply enjoy freely.
Continuing in the Bilbao tradition, he is building a base of pure sampled sounds with studio sessions, live musicians and vocals to complement his production. Collaborations with vocalist Bisconti and Hannot supplies added depth to tracks like "Rise and Fall", and previous single "Lovely Minds" or "Save The World".
A true milestone in this young Basque artist's career, we are proud to present the fruits of his labours, "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room".
