Korowai

The Korowai, also known as Kolufaup, are a population of western New Guinea, southeast of the Indonesian province of Papua. Their number is estimated to be about 2,868 (2010). They live in the southern coastal region north of Boma and east of Senggo in the Kabupaten of Merauke.

They live in the trees, working while singing and smiling at life!

This music was inspired by what I saw and felt :-)

This song was done for a contest of the Songwriter Forum Kitchen. Initially I thought the challenge was to write a song not in the standard 4/4 measure. But after finishing this track I found out the rule was to write a 3/4 waltz. So this is a left over.
