SONNO is a music project that began in 2014 as a solo acoustic/shoegaze endeavor. For the first two years, the project retained its acoustic song structure while incorporating shoegaze-inspired effects and textures.

In December 2016, with Le Troisième Choix, SONNO shifted towards electronic music, following early production and beatmaking work for GELOGELIDO and COAGULA.

The evolution continued in 2017 with Hypnos, delving into increasingly techno-influenced soundscapes that paved the way for a more freeform, DAW-less improvisational approach, culminating in Aphairesis (2019).

As the new decade began, SONNO returned to computer-based production and collaborations—first by fully producing Teratoma for GELOGELIDO, then working on Villain with SALEM and SHANTI DEEP, and later collaborating on the dual release Disclosure or Devotion / Supersonic Eye with NXPTNE.

Amid these projects, from late 2020, SONNO began developing what would take shape in 2023 as Supervoids—an album of dark, digital pop exploring themes of astrophysics and deep introspection, drifting through the cosmos.

Returning from this cosmic journey, at the end of 2024, SONNO launches the SOVN EP series, introducing a new approach where black metal and electronic music merge in a distinct way with each release.
