Originally conceived as the soundtrack for the immersive VR experience, "Recombination," curated by visionary 3D artist Julius Horsthuis, "Utterly Intertwined" seamlessly weaves its sonic tapestry alongside expansive fractal visuals. Joining the ranks of fellow musical luminaries like Max Cooper, Michael Stearns, and OTT on this project, Desert Dwellers deliver a sonic soundscape that stands apart. Inspired by the organic decay of living matter and the intricate interplay of microorganisms, this project fuses elements of experimental electronic music with the raw essence of the natural world.

Embark on a journey through the undergrowth with tracks like "Entomophtora," "Histoplasma," and "Leucochloridium Paradoxum," where the pulsating rhythms mimic the unseen movements of decay and rebirth. Dive deeper into the cellular realm with "Meiosis" and "Mitosis," where intricate soundscapes intertwine with complex grooves, echoing the constant flux of life.

The song embodies the voices of Malawian culture in Africa, inspired by the powerful rituals, dances, and stories of these traditions. It features vibrant melodies woven with live ngoni and Tank drum, seamlessly blending textured downtempo sections with full-on tribal dance rhythms.

We express deep gratitude for the songs and presence of these lineages that provide us with immense inspiration. It is an honor to work with these sounds.
