Dhawa Sunrise is the first Outtallectuals compilation that was partially released as a sustainability fundraiser, used for rural development in Nepal. The funds from the first 2 years of sales from this album went towards rebuilding a school in Dhawa, a rural village in Nepal, and creating a science lab for the school.

Phewa Dawn is an initiative in partnership with Skate Nepal to redesign and renovate Phewa Skatepark, the only functioning skate park in Nepal. Over 50 musicians have taken part in this project, collaborating with each other to create a variety of organic and/or tribal-influenced electronic music.

Presenting the 40th release on the OUTTA catalog; Komorebi EP is @Poztman's debut release on Outtallectuals and an exploration of dark industrial spectral electronic music, with an overall influence of Japanese concepts and sounds. 

The 4-track EP combines elements of ambient drum n bass, post-black metal, neuro, and the avant-garde, to manifest a dystopian etherealm. Each song portrays a certain concept, aurally represented through the specific attunement of each composition. Accordingly:

Track 1 represents the Japanese concept of "Yugen"; profound and mysterious sense about the beauty of the universe and the sad beauty of human suffering.

Stomping out from its cryogenic hibernation chamber buried deep in the forests of Tsawassen, The Creature returns to remind the human race of their futile resistance to the Second Renaissance; the coalescence of man and machine.

This is the next chapter in the tale of this bionic beast's brutal destiny, and it is a sonic recreation of the grueling procedures the Creature underwent in its transformation to become this ghastly mongrel. Should one listen closely enough, they can hear the bone-shattering blare of its osteoid network being replaced with titanium, lasik re-calibration of its visual prisms, substitution of its blood stream with uranium-laced low molar sulfuric acid, and the development of a dysfunctional appetite for destruction; all of which form the "Elements" that lead to this prototype cybernetic polyoid.

The Basilisk

Presenting 'Samsara', the first track from @RikRonner's debut release through Outtallectuals, '𝐀𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢'; an EP based around a concept of the same name about post-mortem rituals of ascetic Hindu sadhus. The four songs were originally composed for the conceptual dance piece, AGHORI, created by Shailesh Bahoran, and produced by Korzo and ISH Dance Collective. 

The music channels practices related to the Aghori, including processes of reaching enlightenment through years of meditation, and rituals such as smearing cremation ashes on the body and using bones from human remains as jewellery and ornaments. Accordingly, the four tracks follow on this theme through the Hindu concepts of Samsara (worldly wandering), Maya (the creation of a sensible world), Moksha (spiritual emancipation) and Tapasya (meditation and self-discipline).

The project is in collaboration with the ground-breaking Sarnami singer & songwriter, 𝐑𝐚𝐣 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐧, while artwork and visuals for 'Moksha' are creations of the multidisciplinary film-maker, 𝐒𝐡𝐮𝐞𝐭𝐢.
